Paladin Charges
#1
I tried using search but came up empty-handed. Basically how are charges calculated in respect to dual-charging and how do elemental charges factor in? More interested in how it's calculated than the final product.

Thanks

Each charge's damage is first multiplied by your range. So for fire, your damage is increased to 130% of its original. Secondly, you find out if you have advantage or disadvantage to the monster. Then, you find how much elemental power your skill has (at max, it's 100%). Otherwise, it's normal calculation for weakness and resistance (150% and 75% respectively). For dual charging (fire and lightning for this example), the formula is (130% * advantage + 12.5% * advantage) * damage range. If your elemental power is less than 100% (skill isn't maxed), I'm assuming it just multiplies that percentage by the advantage instead. Unless the monster is resistant to the primary element or weak to lightning only, dual charging will always increase your damage.

Cool, thanks.

I did see that thread but so much of it was written with uncertainty plus the addition of someone asking if they need to make a char in kmst to test it was off-putting.
