DPM in relation to %stat potentials

I was surfing Basil and I came across a thread about which class has the highest DPM when given perfect equipments.

Perfect equipments being perfectly scrolled and hammered with ideal potential stats.

The thing is, many people say that corsairs will still have the highest DPM.

I'd personally think that classes such as Heroes, Shadowers and Dual Blades will have higher DPM as they have an extra 27% from their offhand equipment and another 27% more than Corsairs as they do not use overalls.

Does that 54% stat not matter that much?

STRless DEXless perfect potentialled shadower i mean really what could be that?

Oh yeah, a dual blader with SIX weapon lines. And stance. And more PDR bypassing. And More free w.atk.

To my knowledge, there are currently about 12 slots that have lv.71+ equips, and 3 more (face/eye/ring) that have lower level potential equips. (also, 4 of 12 have 4th tier potential atm - 3 of 4 for everyone, the other is the shield/katara)

There are of course 2 less for classes without t/b and shield/katara.

So the question is, does 15% more damage compensate for class differences. To which I say... look up the dpm charts... I am too lazy.

I would guess the Katara's extra potential lends it a much larger advantage, since you could rack up something like 30% boss, 30% ignore pdr, 9% total damage, 9% crit, 9% primary stat, 9% atk.

DBS and shads also can theoretically get an extra 7% due to the fact that they have access to 3rd tier masks

So basically, how much % stat could you possibly have? You know there's gonna be a ring with slots coming out soon...

I really don't get how people fear the dark Cygness empress so much anymore... I think with all this, and protect shields coming out kinda soon...
Some people are gonna be just... Crazy strong... But I guess also they do have the damage cap, which is probably the only thing that stopped that guy FleyX from soloing pink bean a while ago.

All this is assuming you save your weapon's slots for better potential. Max possible % Primary Stat:

For absolute maximum, add 27% to all values; 54% for DBs.

Pirates/Bowmen: 306%
DrKs: 315%
NLs/Dual Blades: 324% (In this case, All Dagger and Katara stats would be set to % boss damage, % ignore defense, % damage and % attack for superior DPS)
Mages: 333%
Heroes/Pallys: 342%
Shadowers: 354%

boss damage stacks, on bosses dbs basically just win.

Who has the highest dps now then?

I stopped paying attention to lolmaple almost entirely since bb/ potential scrolls were released.
I'm still a corsair/aran guy. Might play again soon.

Youre fine with a Sair, aswell MECHS and DBs are quite strong too. I also have a mech, you can just switch your gear from your Sair to your Mech because Mechs are unsing Guns and pirate clothes aswell.
