BTA Is Awesome Mafia 2: Vanilla Office Life - Mafia Wins

Today, you are certain of who to vote for. Your fingers all point towards z0mgc00k13, who is visibly distressed. Suddenly, he falls over in pain. Several of you run over to help him, but seconds later he vanishes.

You are May Chietza, the Office Gossip. You just love to talk about people, and you've gotten pretty good at picking things up about other employees and piecing together what's really going on. Each night you may send me a PM titled
Night x - Learn About USER. You will receive that player's alignment the
next morning.

You win when all mafia players have been eliminated.

You all look around, shocked. As you still can't escape, you waste the day away in various ways. As night approaches, you hear a ding. A timer has appeared over the doors of the elevator to the basement. It appears that you have 12 hours till the timer reaches 0, so you all decide to get some sleep..

Night ends at 9 PM EST tomorrow. Mafia victory is almost certain.

The five of you that remain spend the night spread throughout the building.

All of you awake to hear the sound of the elevator's timer hitting 0. The elevator doors begin to open, and you are about to step in, when...

"HEHEHEHE, NOT SO FAST. YOU HAVE TO PAY THE TOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL~"

Holypie, DualReaver, ChaoticCJ, and Darkmaniak turn around to see NoJobNoRules laughing demoniacally.

DualReaver steps forward, putting herself between NoJob and the others. "I don't know what's going on, but I won't let you hurt anyone else!"

"HEHEHEHE, DEFENSIVE, ARE YOUUUUUUUUUU? IS THIS BECAUSE SHE SLEPT WITH YOU LAST NIIIIIIIIIIIGHT? IT'S NOT LIKE SHE CAAAAAAAAAARES WHO'S IN HER BED~"

Dual blushes at first, but then grows angry and launches herself at NoJob. "DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT HER THAT WAY!"

NoJob, having not expected DualReaver to be so brave, is knocked back by the tackle. Dual prepares to punch NoJob, but finds herself unable to move.

"HEHEHEHE, TRIIIIIIIIIIIIICKED YA~"

NoJob, still laughing, somehow drags Dual through the floor and out of sight. The three of you that remain are left staring at the ground in shock.

You are Jim Howard, an Officer. Having successfully integrated yourself into the group of workers, your job is to report workers to the Boss to be fired for their incompetence. Each night, your Lead Officer will pick an Officer to do the report, and a player to be their target. Barring any interruptions, the player reported will be fired.

You win when the number of town players is equal or lesser to the number of remaining mafia players.

You are Sarah Doe, a regular employee. The current problem with the Officers is a threat to your job, so you've banded together with the other
employees to find and shun them. You have no special powers.

You win when all mafia players have been eliminated.

It is Holypie that finally suggests that you move into the elevator. After all, maybe you'll finally be able to find some answers.

You all enter, and the doors close. The elevator begins to move downwards. Hours later, it is still moving. It's not until you hear the demonic cackling again that you realize you've made a mistake. Dark and CJ turn to Holypie, not knowing who else to blame, only to find that he has vanished. Suddenly, the lights go out. And then there is nothing.

To do so, send me a PM titled Night x - OFFICER Reports USER. You must specify which of your team members is the one that does the report, with yourself also being a viable option. Barring any interruptions, the player reported will be fired. If you are investigated, you will show up as a regular worker.

So, now, my thoughts on the game: you guys failed horribly. Instead of going "Oh, there are vanillas, so we can’t rely on special roles to win this for us, so maybe we should post more to weed out who the mafia members are.” you went “HURP DURP NO ROLES NO POSTING WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”.

And yes, it was a troll game. You expected roles. You did not get roles. You were trolled. This is compared to E6's game, where you expected everything, and got everything, with me being the only one who was actually trolled due to role loss. :<

I do think you'd have had better luck if you had said it was a vanilla game BTA, once we saw the vanillas, it was obviously not a troll game. Still I had fun actually one vote killing a mafian. That's got to be the first time that's happened in an sp mafia game. XP Also, grats to the mafia, who won mostly due to the sheer inactivity of the players. I should have tried harder to win, but really, there was just not enough people actively playing for me to do much besides what I did. XP

I set out to troll the players. I succeeded. I just didn't expect them to ragequit. :<

I was about 75% sure you were mafia, and Pie was pretty high on my suspicion list as well by the time I died. Mostly I voted for you to see what would happen, just like I voted for myself to see what would happen. Unfortunately the complete lack of response from most of the other players really didn't do much to help matters.

ThatHurts was the first one to submit a report. There were hints to other players as well ("darkness", "ripping", and "jolt"), but those were just red herrings- it was words relating to pain that showed up repeatedly.

"I wonder about things at night. My words hurt others, and with them I hurt my soul. All that remains is 6-24."

ThatHurts again. Go back and look at the first clue. The words relating to ThatHurts, who it really points to, are the 6th word in the first sentence and the 2nd and 4th words in the second sentence.

"Bum" pretty clearly points to NoJob. Not sure how you guys missed that.
