So recently I have came back to MS after getting hacked around a year ago and im left with my unanswered questions due to BB.
1. Are axes and blunt weapons now on par with swords.
2. How does the new magic formula work since 1int=/=1matk anymore.
3. And last are lesses still existent?

just got back myself. Here's the basic rundown..

Axes and blunts still suck but only because of speed differences now. My hero now uses a VIP Axe and is effectively the same as a sword at a quarter of the price
Magic formula is similar to other ones but I believe the multiplier is around .8
As a warrior you're char is now totally gimped if it isn't dexless as accuracy isn't even useful anymore. Not to sure about mages but I think lucless were screwed while low luc were the best off. I just got back so you'll have to confirm elsewhere but I hope this helps

2: For mages, magic attack now works the same way that attack works for other classes. Formula is:
1.00*(4 * INT + LUK) * (Magic Attack / 100)
From this thread: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=34243

3:LUKless mages are not necessarily screwed if they can get enough LUK from equips to reach 80 LUK, which is nowhere as difficult as it used to be. My AM has 4 base luk and over 100 total luk. (and 6 more yet when new ring complete). Some will say that you should aim to get enough LUK to eventually equip the lvl 163 staff, which has highest magic attack (but no elemental bonus any more).

4: For potential system, see this guide: http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=29712
