Go.

I am so happy I have a PS3 right now.
Jude's fighting style looks amazing, I've been wanting more good close combat hand-to-hand since playing Farah, and playing Regal and finding out how pineappleing bad Regal is, and now there are more. <3 Sophie
Mira is just so delicious though, definitely gives the game a lot of playback value, making you choose one main character.

Also, animation by ufotable, F'UCK YEAH

It looks nice. Hopefully it gets translated and released here. And then hopefully it's good like Tales of the Abyss and not crap like EVERY OTHER TALES GAME (story). Oh wait, Tales of Eternia was nice too. Always forget that's a Tales game.

Tales plots are all generally really cliched, and almost all of them, (all the ones I've played anyways), the main villain is a misunderstood anti-hero that you end up sympathising with just as you kill him.
I've always felt it's about the so-so story combined with the much more engaging world and game-play style that makes Tales good.

Pretty much this. I don't think I've seen one end-game boss that wasn't this way in the Tales series. Even Shizel had her reasons for everything. Surprised Sarah likes ToE, it's super-cliche. :v But it's still my favorite.

PS: Can't see vid, I'll just YT it. Why does it look like a copy-pasta of Vesperia and Graces? Gah. We'll see how this goes.

Yeah, I agree. Tales of the Abyss had exceptional characterization though, and watching Luke's reactions and growth was amazing. That combined with the finally near-perfect battle system and the engaging (and beautiful) world (lots of sidequests!) put Tales of the Abyss in a league of its own compared to the other games. One of my favourite games of all time. Probably in my top 3 PS2 RPGs, even.

I'll have to watch this vid a bit later. In the mean time, I have to agree with Sarah on TotA. I do have to say though that I really like Tales of Vesperia as well.

Hope it gets localized, looks good. Wonder if it can steal Vesperia's favourite spot from it.

He reminds me so much of Lelouch. Asbel was just like Suzaku in Graces. I SEE A PATTERN!

Looks like this is going to be Japan-exclusive. Frown

from what I understood, Bandai-namco NA is having financial troubles? I believe that's why vesperia's PS3 port was never released here, and also why graces is looking to be a lost cause. I could be mistaken though. Either way, the Tales series for north america is in trouble. Things're lookin' grim, folks ;_;
