How is everyone enjoying it so far? I've gotten my rogue to 85 and ran my first 10 man yesterday. We just wiped on omnitron defense system for 2 hours before we just gave up lol. Most of the people I went with still had a few greens. I think my rogue is 2nd or 3rd most geared in my guild at the moment. Quite a few 346 heroic/revered pieces and my epic trinket from being an illustrious alchemist =). But yeah we weren't expecting to kill anything with how few people in our guild are at least 50% heroic 5 man gear. Once everyone gets to at least that point we should be able to kill this guy. We got him to around 40ish % a few times.
My opinions so far -
Leveling is so good at the moment. The quest chains feel so epic from 1-60 and 80-85.
HEROIC DUNGEONS!!! My favorite. They're challenging for sure and force people to learn how to play their fking class.
PvP - subtlety is pretty fun but warrior and feral damage is way too damn high at the moment.

I got to 85 on Wednesday and have been running Heroics with my guild since we got the gear for them. It's pineappleing wonderful. A little group of us (Myself -- a Resto Druid, a DK tank, and two Hunters) are actually going for first Cata Dungeon Hero on the server. Only 8 achieves left!
We also did Baradin Hold last night. It was surprisingly easy. That boss's mechanic is sickeningly simple; the only hard part is getting enough DPS and two decent healers.
I enjoy seeing so many people QQ about healing on Blizz's forums. Now the braindead healers will be recognized as such and there can be a real difference between the good and the bad, like there always has been for DPS.

Well my guild is raiding tonight. I might have to get them to go to Baradin hold rather than going back to blackwing lair. I heard the 10 man vortex pinnacle was easier though.
That reminds me. The one thing I am extremely disappointed in is motha fking Tol Borad. It's almost impossible for defense to lose if they just group up on one tower....

I've never been a fan of PvP, but I don't like how Wintergrasp was changed so that it usually only involves 10 people on each side. I liked the massiveness of the old version, even if Tenacity wasn't all that well-done.
You should definitely get them to do Baradin -- the fight is really easy as long as you have the DPS, and the loot is quite good.

GL with that!
Surprisingly, the top guild on my server completed their achieve on Saturday.

Well it IS the VoA of Cata. Of course it has to be easy for the casuals lol

But you do have to admit that Healing is retarded in some shape or form. I find it funny though that Druids and Paladins switched places in Healing. Pallys have endless mana or near endless and Druids just OOM rather quickly.
As for myself. I hit 85 on Thursday due to finals stopping me from all-nighting lol
I'm working on heroics right now, only have 2 or 3 heroic pieces and got my first faction to exalted tonight. I just need to wait for my Truegold CD to be up so I can make my Epic Engineering helmet. I love how my first profession, Alchemy, is supporting my 2nd "newer" prof, Engineering, in a ton of ways. I'm also slowly working on Archaeology. I'm having a blast with the profession right now and I'm trying to level it as much as I can since the Alchemy mount can only be obtained through the Tol'Vir set.
My guild is working on Bastion of Twilight 10m, for god knows why, and the group 2shot Baradin Hold. Funny enough Warlock tier gloves dropped and we don't have a decently geared Lock just yet, so they had to DE them :x

Just got to 40 today. (Sue me, I'm still new to the game). I can't really comment about the end game things.

Surprisingly, the top guild on my server completed their achieve on Saturday. Yeah, we're being pretty slow, but then again the top guilds on our server suck. Or I'm underestimating how close to the "top" my guild is. Regardless, we're the furthest progressed in Dungeon Hero right now.

Pallys have endless mana or near endless and Druids just OOM rather quickly. I disagree. Paladins were hotfixed so that the strategy they were using to have infinite mana and good healing won't work anymore. Healing classes are no longer "x class has endless mana and y class OOMs quickly," but rather good healers heal a lot while using their mana well and bad healers OOM quickly. Many of the people who are QQing are the ones who got too used to the lazy style that was WotLK: press a heal button (all the healers only have 1 or 2 heals they use) when someone isn't at 100% HP. That "strategy" is more than enough for any normal fights and probably many heroic fights even in ICC. I, for one, was prepared for the coming mana shortage and practiced using as little mana as possible for the last month of WotLK, so Cata didn't really shock me so much.

We were working on the Throne of the Four Winds today (man that fight is pineappleing complicated), but didn't get terribly far in the two hours before most of us had to sleep. Looking forward to more raiding later in the week.

Of course there's wrong with it. It certainly raises up more awareness than usual. I'm glad they're making it much more tougher in Cata than Lawl King. Definitely brings back the memories of Vanilla and TBC WoW. Regardless of that, I'm having a blast in the new heroics. Lot of new and interesting mechanics to say the least.

Easy games, facerolls, and being hideously overpowered is good for a laugh, but it doesn't have quite the lasting appeal of something that is just the right amount of challenging.

I mean that it does seem stupid retarded how healing is due to how the mechanics are done nowadays, but there's nothing wrong with the massive overhaul as it certainly tries to let the player bring him/herself up to the level of the game, instead of the game being brought down to his/her level.
If that makes any sense to you lol
It feels like I'm contradicting myself D:

Considering how massively overhaul'd the level 1-60 content was and how easy it is to level in that level frame, I'm not surprised lol

I has the Collector's Edition ordered from Newegg when everywhere else doesn't have it; feels good man. Now I need to try to find time during these last 1.5 years of college to play while also juggling DFO and Maple. Dx
I need some terribly punny names for a female Worgen warrior. Why female? Because a female warrior tanking things better than non-tanky male characters appeals to me. That and I already have a NE male druid and a male Draenei paladin so I can already tank things 2 ways, with a human male DK that I haven't worked on since I left WoW 2 years back, so I would have 3 male tanks/DPS then.
