When I disconnect, Maple doesn't exit
#1
Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:
Every so often my laptop disconnects. Pretty easy to see it happen. Stuff stops dying, pots/buffs don't work, etc.

30 seconds later, the game locks up. But it never gets to the login page, and the program never exits. I've left it for hours on end with zero luck, it just stays frozen.

If I'm playing in window mode, I can kill it with Task Manager - if it's full screen, there's no way to close it except to reboot the computer.

I'm playing on Windows XP 32-bit.

I've had this happen to me twice in the last two days.

Rather than turning off your laptop, close the screen and wait for it to sleep. Then go to Task Manager and kill the process, and restart your computer manually if you want.

This happens to me fairly often. My solution is pressing the power button once and then pressing the "S" key. Puts the computer in standby. Then when you turn it back on, you can just force quit maple.
