LaTale

This one chick I'm hitting it up with plays LaTale. She hasn't me too much about it, but I looked up some videos, and it really.. reminded me of MS. Someone, please tell me, is the customer service and gameplay much better than MapleStory? What about the grinding/leveling system? I'm interested.

I'm not too sure about the customer service and gameplay, but it gets really grindy from Lv50~79. It gets a lot better from Lv80 (2nd Job Advancement) onward though.

I've heard that it's pretty cash shop reliant at higher levels too.

Can't say I've much experience with the game though. I only got to level 30ish on an archer and then high 20s on a warrior. Early on the quests gave a lot of exp but I had to start grinding already past 30.

This was like two years ago though so I have no idea where the game is at now.

Lots of grind if you don't like questing. Questing is basically grinding on repeat monster kill quests. There are mini dungeons and stuff to do with parties, and alot of story quests that can be fun but can get boring. Also, if you don't have a perfect connection then youll lag easily. There is no "breathe" time I guess, cause you can more or less get spamm attacked by a giant mob and get no recover time. Potions and on cooldown, which makes that moraped issue very apparent early on. Its good and fun and cute for a few days if you will, but I never got anywhere past level 30 on the official server. I've gotten pretty high on the private server, but the private server has worse "customer service" than the official one.
