Ya know, I grew up with pokemon, and I always loved it for a sense of adventure, exploring, training, just to achieve a sense of "legacy." Online pokemon metagame I believe ruined that. No longer do you make a team you love because "F-uck yeah Aragon is a thug". No you make pokemon teams based on so much in game strategy and training and breeding, it's lost its sparkle of any in game team. You beat the elite 4, the end, theres nothing left, and it has the same repetitive storyline. The same repetitive ending, lines, phrases what have you.
What if pokemon actually dumped all their fucking megatons of money into making the ultimate pokemon game. I mean really hauling ass with this one. I'm really writing this out of adranaline and too much caffeine but think about this. You start out the story line with being the child of Ash, yes, a new generation, but going by the roots. You start at kanto, and end whatever fucked up continent black and white starts. You go through every world, you go through all the events, every legendary, all the movies, hell you don't even get to capture the legendaries until every fucking appearance has been meant. (Dialga/Palkia for example). Even pokemon of that magnitude and importance probably will have a summoning rather than a catch.
The magnitude of this game should rival final fantasy, without all the online bull pomegranate. pineapple battling people online, live the genuine pokemon story from anime, too adding your own appeal to it. But the basic storyline sticking with the anime, including all the sub categories and pomegranate. And I mean actually starting with pikachu, pineapple lets let you start with any pokemon (besides legendaries). Of course the lowest form of evolution.
Now let's really jack this pomegranate up and doing it with cell shading, like budokai pomegranate.
Anyway, yah not probably the first one to think of this and I'll elaborate it later but hell post your idea's lets really see what the "Utlimate" pokemon game is! LOL.
