Unscheduled Server Maintenance 10/20

Dear Maplers,

We will be having unscheduled game maintenance tonight to resolve reported Halloween event issues. The issues we are addressing are:

- NPC Witch Malady missing from all towns except Perion.
- NPC Olivia missing from the Haunted Mansion.

The maintenance will take approximately 2 hours. All MapleStory game servers will be unavailable at during this time.

-Maintenance Schedule-
Pacific: Wednesday, October 20 - 10 PM - 12 PM
Eastern: Thursday, October 21 - 1 AM - 3 AM

Heh, and I doubt they pretty much removed the pre-quests for HH2 (leaving only Steward's final quest, for the chair).

And here I thought they weren't including Olivia this year, purposely.

I have a feeling someone who isn't ''in the know'' was in charge of putting together the event page.

Hopefully the multi-login thing gets patched up too...?

The thing where a single account can be logged into multiple times. Can lead to certain exploits, which I'm sure it already has at this point.

I doubt they will. Why would they? Theres nothing "game breaking" in this set of items. The ring has no slots and the best you could get the hat would probably be +10-15 all which is very nice for level 20 but the chances of that happening are probably so little.

In the scrolling message bar at the top of the screen in-game, it says there's an unscheduled server check on August 20th. No wonder Nexon is so clueless all the time; they don't even know what month it is!

Nexon might just decide to fu'ck with us for what it's worth. After all, if they lower the drop rate, I won't be faced with the dilemma I don't give half a rat ass about, so no harm done.
