I do that all of the time, actually. My friend (Ransu) has TERRIBLE internet, so just about every item on the boat gets lag-glitched when you try to pick them up, making you pick up another item with the same character animation that you'd get by picking up the other item.

Yeah I got that weird scale thing while fishing earlier as well. Wonder if it even does anything. Those eggs are rare as hell. >:|

They had a similar glitch with the Cat NPC at the Inn. For one of his sayings, it would speak in a code, similar to the scale's.
