Ice Strike/Spell Booster after Big Bang?
#1
Currently, Ice Strike and similar skills have their range increased each level until the max
amount at 28/30.

Ex.
Level 1 Ice Strike: -MP 21, Attack 32, Mastery 15%, Attack Range 110%
Level 28 Ice Strike:- MP 48, Attack 86, Mastery 60%, Attack Range 200%

Since the skill mastery is now 20 after Big Bang, do they still increase their range
each level or do you get the max range at level 1?

Also, I read that the maximum speed increase for Spell Booster is +2 instead of +3.
So does level 1 Spell Booster have the max increase of +2 as well or is it now +1?

Yes, I already read the thread beforehand.

Just can't see the information pertaining to the skill ranges.

After BB, the range is never determined by the level. The range is determined by the skill. Constant.

Post-BB
Pre-BB (level 30)

Well, that's a change then...

So are the skill attack ranges the same or have some been increased/decreased post-BB?

So skills at level 1 have the same range as maxed?
That makes maxed Rush practically useless.

Looking at the skill data, it makes absolutely no sense to get anything more than 1 point in Rush. All you get is higher damage (130%+4%/level) and slightly higher MP cost (1 MP/3 levels). Your points are better spent in Monster Magnet because that increases stun duration.

I think the argument for Rush is that it moves you about the map faster and it triggers FA. So the damage is substantially better at max level than Monster Magnet (Rush: 250%+FA, MM: 140%) and moves more mobs (15 vs 6). You'll be using Rush quite often. It's up to your training style, though, on which to pick.

Monster Magnet doesn't trigger FA anymore? FA is hardly significant as it only hits one monster regardless of the skill.

Unless it was changed going into KMS like we noticed with Double Shot, no, it does not trigger FA anymore.

Well, guess that covers it for me. Thank you to those who replied.

My bad for missing your question Abysseon, yes, some ranges changed. The only other one I can remember off the top of my head is Barrage, but I'm sure there are others.

I wanted to correct something I said earlier. It turns out that Monster Magnet does use FA. The skill set I was using at the time was Paladin skills, and strangely enough Paladin's Monster Magnet does not use FA while Hero/DrK does.

Probably because Paladins no longer have Monster Magnet?
