I know what w.att means, but I still haven't figured out what Total Damage % or w.att % are doing.
A friend of mine said %w.att is taken from the weapon and not all w.att in general and % total damage is taken from range (% from min range and % from max range added to existing range) is that true?
And something else I wanted to know, for a DB lvl 140 that doesn't boss a lot, which of the following would be best, assuming that the item is at unique rank:
1) % total damage
2) % w.att
3) +w.att
4) % luk

- % total damage
- % luk
- % luk
Would be optimal.

You're missing some % boss damage, I mean even if you don't boss a lot it's still nice to have.

I'm not really sure how DBs are but on my Paladin, training DPS has lost all meaning since we got potential items. I kill everything so quickly there's almost no difference from 6% extra stats.
30%boss damage on the other hand will be a noticeable improvement every time you boss...
For your question about what %watk does I could test it but I'd need an onyx apple and I'm too cheap for that, lol.

Would need confirmation from dual bladers. Boss damage on one dagger or katara should give both the boss damage bonus, meaning you only need one piece to have it. ATTACKS is modified before ammo/star and attack buff, so basically just your "base attack" that you can gather from your equip/blessing/skill. Meaning it should be (base attack x ATTACKS % + (ammo/star/attack pot/buff), then modified by echo after. Total damage %s stacks, so ideally you would want 30%, total damage, total damage, total damage, ATTACKS, ATTACKS, spread across dagger and katara, order doesn't matter but of course having total damage on first line is a bonus. Reason why you don't want % luk is the increase in less compared to total damage and ATTACKS once your % luk gets higher. Since you don't boss a lot, I think having 3 total damages, and 3 ATTACKS across is better. If you use apples or high attack pots a lot (or your weapon att is considerably low, say 150 ish), 4 total damages and 2 ATTACKS might be better.

Doesn't stack with Dagger/Blade. Tested before.

Okay.

Total Damage% doesn't stack.

Not true. Dual Bladers kill fast anyway so having 30% boss damage would be more beneficial even if you don't even boss. At 153, I 1-hit skeles almost all the time, with mediocre gear. So having %LUK and Boss Damage% would be better.

I'm saying having total damage or ATTACKS is better than % luk, since 8% luk will convert to 4% overall damage increase if you have 100% luk bonus at hand already. Compared to 8% total damage or 8% ATTACKS, those two will be better than % luk. Luk is still good but just doesn't provide as a good a bonus, that's all.
I was sure total damage % stacks, but I won't be cubing weapons anytime soon to get two total damage lines to test with. If it doesn't stack, boss damage/total damage/ATTACKS should be the best 3 options on a weapon.

Supposedly, the loss on dmg from the %WATK bonus on apple can be anywhere from 25% to 50% for individual cases. For DB and their low base WATK on the Katara, I expect the loss to be rather on the bigger side (close to 100 totalATK on Katara hits)
Additionally, if we try to be generous in our estimates, +50% luk would be appropriate for an average DB, in which case, the 8%luk you proposed would give over 5.3% total damage boost.
In the end, there isn't really big a difference choosing between those two, even though %luk seems slightly superior to %atk in a rather realistic scenario. Still, it doesn't make enough of a difference to be significant.

I've seen instances where if you have boss damage % in the first of 3 lines you have a higher chance to get unique potential stats on the next 2 lines.
EX:
Boss damage +30%
Total Damage + 9%
Stat 9%
So overall, if your lucky enough I suppose, you can get more % for your buck that way.

I don't understand what ATTACKS mean, mind clearing that up? and I couldn't further read since it all had ATTACKS calculated in..
So okay maybe I boss once a week, but why get 30% boss damage just for that? when I'm going with a party for zak (example) my damage won't be that noticeable..
On the other hand, when I'm training solo at skele/RooB4 my damage can help a lot to speed up training and get me more exp overall.
So basically, I should wish for % boss damage and % total damage even if I'm not bossing a lot?

Sry to being ask again, accroding to Random_OVerlord: the rank given to best potential stat is
1) Total damage %
2) attack %
3) Stat %
4) Boss damage %.
question to be ask and re-confirm:
1. Total dmg% is the % derive from the damage range, example i had weapon that add 9% total dmg, my max atk range is 1000, after the effect, my max atk range will be 1090. (can be stack)
2. attack %, derive from total base weapen atk (include atk pot and atk apple, but not include bullet and star), (can be stack)
3. stat %, derive from the total stat after base stat+ mw stat. (can be stack)
4. boss dmg %, add up on skill %, example a skill deal 280% dmg, after this stat --> 280% + 30% = 310% dmg on boss. (cannot be stack)
question about potential skill:
1. how many skill is provided on potential system?
2. does each of the skill only available for certain rank of the EQ? (rare, epic, unique)
lastly, i'm playing hero and bm, any stat suggestion for this 2 class?

Yes, it works like that, the stacking, though, is not yet concretely confirmed. %damage surely stacks with %luk, %atk, whether or how it stacks with another %damage is not known. Words have it that it doesn't self-stack.
2. attack %, derive from total base weapen atk (include atk pot and atk apple, but not include bullet and star), (can be stack)
Yes, it works like that. Not sure about stacking, though most likely it stacks with other additions multiplicatively, self-stack additionally.
3. stat %, derive from the total stat after base stat+ mw stat. (can be stack)
((Base*MW) + EquipBonus) * %stat
Stacks with other potential % bonuses multiplicatively, stacks with other %stat bonuses additionally.
4. boss dmg %, add up on skill %, example a skill deal 280% dmg, after this stat --> 280% + 30% = 310% dmg on boss. (cannot be stack)
Same as 1. Doesn't stack, fo sho.
If you do 100k hit, with 30% boss damage, it becomes 130k.
question about potential skill:
1. how many skill is provided on potential system?
Decent Haste, Door, Hyper Body, and Sharp Eyes, so 4.
2. does each of the skill only available for certain rank of the EQ? (rare, epic, unique)
All skills can only be obtained on Unique equipment.
Sorry for double post, I meant to copypaste and edit.

Total damage does not stack with total damage. The lower line overshadows the first. I tested this when I had both 6% total damage (2nd line) and 3% total damage (3rd line) at the same time, and I only observed my damage increase by 3%.

so
1. total damage not stacking with total dmg
2. % atk stack % atk
3. % stat stacking % stat, but does it include EQ stat?
4. boss dmg % not add on into skill %, example (280% + 30%)? so is 280% multiply 130%?

Sorry. Disregard what I said before. The SMALLER bonus overshadows the larger one. It's not by line order.
