Samurai Jack.

Long ago, in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now, the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku...




This is a gem I missed out on when it first was showed due to being off in another country at the time so I never got to enjoy it like others did, of course I heard about it and such, but only saw a bit of it here and there. Well, after far too long I decided to pick it up and watch it from start to finish. Just now I watched the final episode of the first season and throughly enjoy it with it's GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS! Also, I have never been more tore between who I like better between the hero and the villain in a series before.

Once I am done watching it through and through I am sure I'll look forward to the movie like other fans of the series though I am unsure of how Aku will be without Mako voicing him since Mako as Aku is just simply awesome.

I was young whe the show aired here in Mexico, so I didn't really understand the plot, but it was an awesome cartoon.

Always loved that show, never got to finish it though. I need to do that before the movie comes out.

I love love love(d) this show. One of my CN faves, along with Dexter's Lab and a few others. I hope the movie is finally made, too.

1) Who is mako, is that the VA of Aku's name, or the name of another role he is noted for?

3) This is an example of great animation. Plot, Art, Characters, and Coolness all rate high.

i prefer the episode where he fought Nega-Jack. that was intense.
Also the one where he fought the dude who imprisoned fallen warriors spirits in skulls and was like a necromancer. he had a quirky, yet interesting design.

Mad Jack, get yo facts straight.

One of the few classics that were on CN. I always looked forward to watching it.
