Arch Mage weapons - Post BB

Since the MATK formula is changed after BB to work like WATK , I was wondering whats better for an F/P or I/L

a. Elemental wand (7x) clean - 85 MATK
b. Dragon Staff - with lets say : 3x 30% 3x 60% roughly - 146 MATK

since Ele wands give 25% more damage to your main element.

also what would be better

a. Clean Ele Staff (10x) clean - 118 MATK
b. same dragon staff as before.

Mainly I want to know if ele weapons are still as powerful.

I'm certain in the latter that elemental staff (103) beats the dragon staff by far, especialy if scrolled. but as for 7x ones, I don't know.


Also the reason I write clean is because Elemental weapons are expensive and most people wouldn't scroll them till being at quite a high level or with sufficent funds to destroy a few.

Obviously 130 wands still destroy everything else. 120+ potential stats, more m.att base than gandalfs staff, and a base 1.25x/1.1x multiplier.

And then level 163 staves will destroy ewands. The ammount of Matk they have is worth more than the 80-100 luk you'd be losing.

At my level, my MA ratio is about 4:1 (or so I think). I could have 120 luk and still do more dmg than using the 130 wand.

Yes. For the entire 35 seconds it takes me to poke a snail, laugh at how ridiculous the game is now, and leave again.

You were one of the few with a 163 staff in Mardia. Vee had one for his old F/P before he remade it, and as far as I can remember, you were the only one with the 163 ice version (it matched your avatar perfect.)

It would be interesting to see damage results after the new damage cap with the 163 staff, so do make sure to take screen shots of your damage and post it on here.
