Monitor resolutions
#1
I like the 1440x900 resolution but my computer only lets me have that once in a while. It usually happens after a restart. But if I restart again that resolution isn't there anymore. Then it could be weeks before I get that resolution again. What gives? Is there a way to force my computer to keep that resolution there? Because it's really inconvenient.

Running Vista if that matters at all.

LCD monitors have native resolutions and the picture looks best at native resolution. If you're on a CRT monitor, it's just up to you.
#3
Well...I don't want my native resolution. I want 1440x900. I know I can select it, the computer just doesn't care.

This is the closest I can get unless I get a lucky restart. The main reason it bothers me is because if I try to play Maple on fullscreen I just get a "Frequency out of Range" error and I'm forced to window it. I don't like window mode because it eats up extra resources.
#4
run the setup.exe in the maple folder.

and are you on a LCD monitor?
#5
Yeah. LCD.

Forgot to mention that 1440x900 is the only one that lets me fullscreen maple without the error.
#6
well setup.exe in the maple folder should fix it, other than that have you tried updating your graphic drivers?
#7
Huh. Who knew a useless looking icon would fix my frequency problem.

Thanks, bro.
