Nerf Skills from Potential Glitch
#21
Kalovale Wrote:No, the risk lies in the process of unequipping the overall, as you have 50% chance to choose the top instead of the bottom, lulz. That, and I haven't lost my skill yet, so beats me if it really happens.

Oh so overalls can get it? I guess pirates aren't completely screwed on the deal then. Brb buying like 200 cubes...

It doesn't, you misinterpreted what Kalovale said.

Well can you at least get the skill from common, low-level pants?

Needs to be at least level 70, your best bet is upgraded stirgeman pants, or make yourself some android pants.

I'm sure Nexon will remove all potential skills and replace it with double-clicking the equip item that has the potential skill to use it, but right now they're kinda busy. Also can get away with pretty much any bug while the Big Bang partyvan is still going /pun

Have you tried switching back to top/bottom combo, but put the top on first?

you know. this problem could be solved by just having overalls get the skill too? At the moment, only allowing pants to get HB pretty much makes it impossible to get on all archers and pirates. We're just lucky that GMS decided to have common level 70 pants, no matter how hard they are to get (one impossible to get).

Yeah, the main thing nerfing them will do is prevent the vast majority of Bowmen/Pirates/Mages from ever having Decent HB. 70+ common pants are insanely rare... it'll mean maybe 5-10 people per server actually have them.

Ya know, if everyone was trustworthy enough, we could have everyone on a server have all the skills.

...just saying...

The other side is also a problem, people are dicks and won't share. I know some guy selling hb for 250m(?) and people actually buy.

What is the Soaring/Flying Skill I see in the SS? Never heard of it. DRPQ thing?

Same thing my guild master does, sadly. He sells his HB pants for 200mil, which is rather silly if you ask me. I mean don't the skills become "Party" skills in Big Bang? Or was that only a rumor?

As for people wondering about the skill and if you un-equip the equip or whatever. What a pally friend and I found out was if you equip the HB pants, and then equip a different item over said pants, you keep the skill. Now if you double-click the HB pants to un-equip them, you lose the skill. Sorry if it's already been mentioned or proved before, I kinda just skimmed the debate x_x

The only thing I need to know is: If you unequip the second pair like you said, do you keep it still?

Yes.

level 70 pants aren't horribly over-rare, but they are rare. But, in servers that aren't scania populated, there always is that one friend or one big alliance that'll have trustable people. Your best bet is to befriend these people. Hopefully they aren't asshats, but we all know maple. Rolleyes

Also, what is the deal on stirgeman pants and upgrading? Failure precentage, chance of upgrade, chance of downgrade, etc.

The main problem isn't that they are rare, but that... Well, let's say that mages, pirates, bowmen don't have pants that are lv 70 or higher. Only overalls. Their only chance at getting decent HB is using common class pants... Over level 70. Only choices are stirgeman's pants, and the android gear, that becomes UNTRADEABLE upon equiping. So yeah, that's the main issue. I don't have that much of a problem, but that's the main issue.

Oh, and also, it only works on UNIQUE lv 70+ pants.
