Worse lag spikes than the Evan patch lag?

I could NOT decide where to put this under so I put it here in hopes that it might just be me and I can fix it...

But has anyone else gotten these really bad lag spikes every few seconds? It's worse than the small one you get every 15 seconds, these lag spikes actually last like 2 seconds and it's REALLY irritating and even dangerous, depending on where you are. o_x

Yep been happening to me alot. Mushroom temple was really really bad for me today on my archer, but i log my hero and go to time temple and its not nearly as bad.

Happens to me a lot as well. Often during Pap. Killed me several times, drives me insane.

Have you tried to closing the website while you're on playing? It usually gets rid of 85% of my lag.

Yesterday, I played with explorer.exe off, with my quality down, and closed everything else. I still lagged occasionally.

Basically the same old Evan lag... still happens every 15 seconds, except now it lasts about twice as long as before. Went from only being noticeable when I was watching to can't stop noticing it. Occasionally dangerous >>

Yeah, it's definitely worse...I was trying to do JQs for guild quest and it made it pretty difficult when it was only a minor problem before.

Definitely much worse.
Also, the load in-between the 15-second hiccups has increased a lot. Can't play anymore on my older computer (the game comes up but is so laggy I can't do much more than be a shop or the like).
My friend with the much newer computer says he lost about 30% fps with this patch.

Yes, the freeze every 15 seconds seems to get worse at every major patch. First hints of it at Aran patch, started to be a pain at Evan patch, now almost a full second freeze. Very distracting. There are also now lots of small hiccups between the major freezes, or just general jitter from low fps.
I have yet to see anyone report finding a way to get rid of it except that someone hinted at success by using hacking methods. (Perhaps bypassing or disabling Hackshield? Not sure.)
Time for a new computer I suppose, though then I'll have WIN 7 incompatibility issues, and apparently there's a chance even new computers can have the same lag/freeze problems.

I'm using WIndows 7 and this computer handles some pretty big games. It doesn't change anything.

My laptop before the patch allowed me to horntail without dcing or lagging once. (Of course, I had to switch qualities often.) Now with this patch, I always disconnect by 5 minutes into any boss run. Even regular zakum. It's ridiculous and no matter what I do... restaring computer/router, closing explorer, etc, nothing helps!

I wonder if there is anyone who plays both KMS and GMS who has this problem on GMS but not KMS. (ie, can we look forward to the problem going away with Big Bang patch if not sooner)

Lag has happened to me too. I blamed it on labtop but bleh, it's been taxing on me, especially on boss runs.

It's more a problem with Nexon's servers and bad programming than anything on your end if it only started happening with this patch.

I can confirm this. It's only happening in gMS, not in kMS.

i having those lag since aran. every patch(from 80+) the screen freeze every 15 sec. you just stuck then i walk in henesys from the strat finding me in the end>>> all waht i want to do is go to the fm!!!, nexon servers suck. even in kms i have lesslag when ch is full even if hes full the lags are very very lil' GMS sucks cuz of it and cuz other resaons
