Returning DK, no clue what to do.

Recently I came back to Maplestory after a leave of 6 months. So many things have changed.

First of all are the Ap/Sp Resets. I read in the other thread, most people are deciding to lower their dex. Since my DK has 60 dex going down to 40, will it make much of a difference?

My DK is currently Lvl. 88.

Equips:
Z helm (just avg clean)
9 attk wg. u/h
18 dex green battle road (100%ed)
7 str Incarus 2
10 speed whitebottoms
CPQ 2 necklace
Strawberry earrings
100%ed karstan

I have a solid 109m to work with.

Any guidance or help will be appreciated

Im in the same spot as you, just came back after a year, so i cant really help with whats changed other than in the patch this week.

Sounds like you dont have earrings, consider hunting red kents, gobies, or some other monster that drops lvl 70+ earrings. Hopefully you can find one with a % str or just str bonus. Maybe do the same thing with your cape. IC 2 capes are great for training in most maps, but not a bad idea to have a stronger one if you want to hunt bosses or are in a party with a thief for haste. You can do the same thing for your other equips too. I've seen top/bottoms with 40 acc clean, so upgrading your overall shouldn't be too hard. And with the new equips having potential for some much acc, lowering your dex shouldnt hurt you at all. I was able to add like 300-400 onto my damage range after the patch simply by lowering my dex and finding earrings with 3% str bonus.

k thanks for the clarification. I'll be sure to add one of your characters. Although im having troubles recieving my AP resets. Everytime I venture into the cash shop and try taking my resets. I get disconnected. Has this happened to anyone else?

Btw, whats with all these rollbacks?! I got my DK to 87% last night and its back to 53% again D:

Just have to keep trying with the cash shop, make sure you wait for your nx and mesos to show up on the bottom and then try.

Yay, got my resets. Reduced my dex down to 30. Any experienced DKs/Drks out there could reccommend me a new weapon?

Alright, time to load you down with what you need to do.

#1: Get yourself a pair of Skis (a crappy pair will do for now); or if you wish, go for a Fairfrozen at level 90 and scroll that. For your PA, it should last for all of your mobbing needs.
(One question: Are you pure spear/PA or hybrid?)
#2: Get a better Work Glove. Sell the 9 att, or you could hammer and 60% it for 13 att. Either way, aim for a 12+ att glove.
#3: Upgrade to a Pink Cape. Aim for a 2 att at least (clean). You can do your scrolling at your own discretion.
#4: The CPQ2 necklace will last you for some time. But once you hit 110 (or before that), buy yourself a MoN. Otherwise, if you can, get a Silver Dep Star.
#5: Get a DEX pair of earrings. However, this is not much of a priority. Once you get #1-4 down, focus on this

And of course, if you can, try to nab potentialized equips whenever possible. Like for example, the Neos top/bottom set (level 100) is a good upgrade from your Battle Road overall. You can get a good amount of accuracy there if you get lucky with magnifying it.

Um..I'm back to maple too, except I have been gone for longer, like almost 2years. I have no idea what to do on my pally. I see we can stack lightning charge and other charge now, but how do I get the new skill combat order? And how do I get a SP reset? And is there anything happened to zakum helm? I don't quite remember if I destroyed it on my pally, but apparently some of my chars still have it while some of my chars have it gone @_@
