Bad luck or non-existant? Breaking the game's rates.

Point in bold for those who don't really want about how I came to posting this.

I've been to Skeles a lot over the past two weeks trying to find Advanced Combo Attack 30. I got all 5 cards for both Skelesgon and Skelesaurus and proved that, according to the book, Skelesaurus drops it. However, I have racked up about 40 hours over these two weeks with drop rates between 1x and 12x (event, card, ring, rep which apparently does work with event). I haven't found it once. The market itself has not had it for almost two weeks which leads me to believe that person received it from Guild Party Quest (which my guild apparently refuses to do). Am I wasting my time looking when I should try rallying the troops? Does it drop from someone not listed in the Monsterbook (example: Gallos which I KNOW doesn't drop it)? Has anyone found it recently in another world?

The only things I learned is that I have terrible luck with finding drops and that when you stack 2x Event EXP, Welcome Back ring, 2x EXP card, DB EXP, and Holy Symbol, you break the game.

Wow, I've never seen that before.. a weird fail safe at the least.. I haven't seen Advanced Combo Attack 30 drop that much from Skele's either btw, so I'm not sure, but you're probably just having bad luck.

Either it's rare, or they accidentally removed it. Have you found any other books there? SE30? FS20?

As far as I know the Ring mule doesn't affect the exp limit - it's just the base exp gain is capped at 10x rate. If you try to gain more than 45000 exp from 1 skele (or 47500 I guess) it resets to 1 exp, and then of course the Ring follows along (since it's 80% of exp).



Event + DB + Card = 8x, throw in HS and it hits 12x which is too high.

As for skills, I've only came across a few skills books:
Magic Mastery 20 (fairly common)
Freeze Standing 20 (fairly common)
Speed Infusion 20 (rare)
Battleship Torpedo 20 (rare)
Achilles 20 (semi-rare)
Anything else hasn't dropped. What about CWK, can ACA30 come from that?

That and SE30 are ridicuously rare from skelesaurus, sorry =\

Well, thanks. It helps a bit knowing that I just have to keep going, though I'm not looking forward to that. My only disappointment is that ACA30 is one of the few skills that cannot be sold through MTS or I would have just bought one there.

Yeah my friends in the guild that have been at skeles for 10x your amount during all forms of events have also said SE 30 and ACA 30 is very rare.
Keep on tying, or you could buy it. Its not expensive but it might fail. :/

I trained my bishop from lv120 to lv200 and never had one drop. Although last week when I was training my aran from lv100 to 160 I had both ACA30 and SE30 drop. Scania btw.

Pierce 20 supposedly drops there too, but it's really freaking rare. A lot more rare than SE30, even. Guildmates of mine have had a lot of trouble getting it.

a) how common it is
b) whether it's at all useful to DBs

I would have, it's like 40-50M in Demethos, but no one has it. I search the FM regularly.
