DB: 30, or from the beginning?

I've seen this question asked a few times, but never really answered, soooooo...

What are the disadvantages from starting from starting at level 30? Do you miss any quests? Do you lose some SP?

All you do is by-pass the quests. It's as if they never existed.

I found out that you lose a good 500-800Hp and 100-300MP as a result of starting at level 30.

Sp and AP are still intact.

Hmm, that's quite a bit of HP. Especially for a low HP class...

I think I'm gonna start from the beginning.

I started my Dual Blade from lvl 1 this morning and the job quests and the valefor hat quests got me to 30 without having to train at all. Its worth starting from the beginning

No idea, but I saw a pic of a Lv30 Dual Blade who started at Lv1 having 1650 HP without any HP boosting equips. It's in the Thief section.
