KMS - The reason PB was defeated.

It was not only skills that were changed within the Big Bang patch, other than any job dealing easily 500k damage, they also changed Pink Bean.

In the video of the El Nido run that is on youtube, the difference is clear. Pink Bean barely does more than 6k now.
He only spams his 1/1 skill, his touch damage was lowered to 5-6k as you can note when the hero touches him somewhere in that video, also, his Big Bang attack, that did almost 14k before, does 5k now.
I also believe that they changed the HP of the boss, i don't know, haven't looked at it's HP on KMS data.

Regardless, Pink Bean barely does more than 7k damage, and jobs now do more than 500k per second, there's a power guard for your whole party and you can even poison him . Really, PB is even weaker than HT, so, this is definitelly not a real achievement, since they just defeated a monster that looks way weaker than Horntail is before Big bang.

If anyone is wondering why a few 20k's or 10k's appear, it's his 1/1 skill when it hits jobs that have high HP.

Anyway, concerning the lowered damage...well I mean that kinda takes away from the achievement, but at the same time means that you don't have to drop hundreds and hundreds of dollars just to have a shot at taking him on. The ridiculous HP washing requirement was infuriatingly absurd to begin with.

Actually I think that damage nerf is a good thing, bosses that noone can kill without insane HP washing are a waste of space imo...

Still indeed, I don't like the potential scrolling system, allowing everyone doing 500k dmg / sec... it's just -way- over the top...

It leaves room for Black Magician to do pre-Big Bang Pink Bean damage, me thinks.

First people are raging that PB is too hard.
Now it's too easy.

It's a boss. And it's meant to be defeated.
We're gonna have harder bosses in the future.

Regular Zakum is 110, Regular Horntail is 130, Pink Bean is 150.

Well PB is a servant of the Black Magician...So I take it he would eventually come down the line. Much stronger of course.

According to Monster book, Pink Bean is a creature that came from a reverse dimension.
There's a man who tries to revive Black Magician, who's asleep. But accidentally, he opens up the gate to that dimension and Pink Bean comes. Pink Bean is able to revive a dead god, and mess up with reality. There are god statues in that room, Ariel, Munin, Figin, Rex and Solomon. Pink Bean revives those to protect himself.

Pink Bean is not really bad, though. He just came up and people start attacking him, what would you expect him to do? @@

Another Point : If pink bean is facing the right, it'd only cast various curse and 1/1 attack where as for left it'd cast seduce and genesis. Thats why in the video, pink bean only hits various curses and 1/1 attack.

EDIT: if i'm not wrong, pink bean only starts spamming genesis when the timer reaches below 5 minutes and facing the left.

This thread isn't about proving that KMS PB is easier, it's about attempting to discredit a perfectly valid accomplishment because JMS needs to look like the best version. You're being petty and small, it's disgusting. This happens so often whenever JMS is challenged even slightly -- you players come out of the woodworks and will say whatever you need to to make yourselves and your version superior.

KMS players used what was at their disposal to defeat Pink Bean, just as JMS players did. It's impossible to compare the two versions and KMS inability to defeat them before while JMS did because, guess what, they're not the same. JMS has a ton of advantages over KMS pre-Big Bang, like elemental weapons and those crazy pets.

WAIT SARAH, I'LL GIVE YOU A BIG EXPLANATION ON WHY THOSE PETS AREN'T SO BAD!!! IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO SPEND $200 IN REAL WORLD MONEY IN ORDER TO GET THEM. Oh I see. Well yes, being able to BUY your defeat of Pink Bean certainly makes you superior.

That is incredibly true. The jMS victory needed +stat pets and Night Lords with HP levels that are not achievable by the average player. jMS's victory is essentially what happens when someone munchkins the game. At least the kMS kill was a more reasonable kill, not this 4 Night Lords 1 Bowmaster/6 parties set up only NX whores can achieve.

So, I can only see this thread going in a bad direction so we'll end discussion here.
