Which Adventurer Ring benefit which job?
#1
As the title says, with the Adventurer Rings coming out soon, I was wondering which ring would benefit which job?

The 10% Critical Rate/Damage is the best for all physical jobs with SE accounted.

For Evans, the 5%/20% damage is slightly better without SE (0.005% better in terms of average DPS) and the same as the 10%/10% with SE. For Mages, both rings are the same without SE and the 10%/10% is 0.005% better in terms of average DPS with SE.

I recall seeing someone doing the calculations somewhere on these forums, but I can't find the post at the moment.

We don't know enough about these rings from KMS yet on how they work.

If they work like SE, then the 10/10 would be best for all jobs because it would add 110% to each of your hits. If it is plain 10/10 adding 10% plain, then the 3 attack would benefit you more.

However, if 10/10 actually MULTIPLIES buy 110%, then it would be more beneficial.

It works like sharp eyes. And the 10/10 ring works better on classes with a passive critical on them (or sharp eyes, etc)Like, on hermits, it goes from 50% to 60%, and 200% damage to... 210%, making it a 210% critical 60% of the time. And then, add in sharp eyes, added just like that.
