I'm pretty sure it had to do with how maturely you handled the appeal process. Knowing perry (OP) I can say confidently his appeal would've looked much different than that of say... Coogi, or NatureDragon, who believe spamming Nexon is the best way to get unblocked.

my chaos ban appeal ticket was closed with the following which seemed rather confusing to me:

I understand that you would like to have your account released from its block. Upon review of your account, your appeal has been granted, and we have decided to reduce your ban duration to 14 days.

We have not released your account because your character was in possession of items that had been obtained through use of a game exploit. Regardless of whether or not you performed this exploit, by obtaining these items, you were still contributing to the situation.

So, appeal granted or not released? I'm not on the rankings and I'm not going to log in at home where I play with my non banned account.

Probably means that you will get your account either after 14 days or when they clean the chaos scrolls out of your account. OR they clean out your account of chaos scrolls THEN ban you for 14 extra days.

Either way you are getting your account back.

Banned accounts don't show up on rankings. Though if you will get back on the rankings or not, that's up to Nexon.

I think what they're referring to him "contributing" is that he was in possession of 100 chaos scrolls.
Anyone can agree that if you wanted to be "legit" the smart thing to do was to not buy so many chaos, because you're pretty much supporting the hacking's causes.

How can one, legitimately obtain chaos scrolls. Could you really make enough of merchanting to have enough? Not to mention you may break some of Maple's rules trying to merchant, such as multiple accounts. We all know they hate that.

It doesn't matter if you wait until each one is closed before you do it again. If I sent this post more than one time I would be spamming. By intending to send your ticket in over and over (you've already done it twice, which is minor spam) you are intending to spam them. I'm not sure why this would be difficult for you to grasp but judging by your post history it seems you are unable to comprehend many things.

I do partially agree with the multiple accounts statement. Back during the iTCG crisis (when the codes didn't work), I sent in a ticket with said codes and information clearly stating that I had multiple accounts. They ended up compensating me for my codes, and had no acknowledgment of the fact that I had multiple accounts.


However, using similar logic to your own, we could create this scenario:

Advertiser: "COME TO MY WEBSITEZ BUY MY GOLDZ NOWZ!"
Advertiser waits for the post to be deleted.
Admin deletes post.
Advertiser: "COME TO MY WEBSITEZ BUY MY GOLDZ NOWZ!"
Cycle continues.

Therefor, the advertiser is not spamming because he is waiting for his post to be deleted BEFORE making a new post.

Secondly, just because you have received automated tickets, does not mean you will not be addressed. Going back to the iTCG story; I had received an automated response on the issue before receiving my compensation. Whether your response is automated or not, does not matter. And, if you dislike their judgment, I have no idea how you would survive in the real world with these kinds of issues. "Hey judge, I don't like your judgment so I'm going to continue coming in here and receiving the same trial over and over again until you make a new judgment." It's just not right.

You only got infracted for calling me retarded. If you had left that out you would have been golden. And yes, spamming their forums and spamming their ticketing system are the same. They're both a minor annoyance that only prove your immaturity and inability to handle situations maturely. I'm not really going to argue with you about "being on Nexon's sack" (uh...) because I absolutely agree with their punishment of the offenders here; but that's a forbidden subject. Agreeing with the way they've dealt with the chaos scroll incident is in no way the same as "being on their sack". I do not agree with the way they're handling ticketing, though I do empathise with them having to deal with potentially hundreds of tickets by people like NatureDragon or those unable to take a hint who repeatedly send tickets demanding they be unblocked.

I can only assume it's too late for your case now, regardless of how many tickets you send, because if you weren't able to do it right the first time I doubt you could change their minds now. I was unaware of the exploit, but I purchased a relatively large number of these scrolls upon seeing them placed cheaply in the free market. While I didn't know I was abusing an exploited item at the time, I take full responsibility and realize now I should have been aware that something was strange about the situation.

Ignorance is no excuse for my actions, and to that end I understand and accept your decision to ban me. But at the same time, I have spent much money and time on your game, and would appreciate greatly if, after a period of punishment, you would remove the offending items (at expense to me) and unblock my account.

I'm immature for making a new ticket after there closed? I'm not even flamming them anyway I'm asking them to please recheck my account and such. It's your own issues, it's your own solutions to figure out. Sarah used BBB, the LATimes, the consumerist to make Nexon listen and fix themselves. MarksmanBryan also used BBB and I'm unaware of how successful he was, but he did get a response. Some other guy managed to get a full refund on his godly equips directly from a GM, I'm not sure what he did. Of course, your way is a solution too, but as Sarah put it:

I shall use another real life example, here:

You and your neighbor both falsely went to jail (on different occasions, but for the same accounts).
Your neighbor goes to court, presents a valid case (friendly, understanding, maturely handles the situation...things of that nature), and is freed.
You go to court and say: "I SHOULDN'T BE IN JAIL BECAUSE I DIDN'T DO IT. I HAVE NO PROOF AND I JUST DIDN'T DO IT SO BELIEVE ME!"
You stay locked up in jail.

Do you see how THAT works? And that doesn't account for you spamming their system either, merely your first case.
