This.

By the way, did you know that because of it becoming a meme, the group actually came back together for another concert?

Sorta like how Rick got deals to lipsing Never Ganna Give You Up at random places.

"Cherry Chocolate Rain" commercial for Cherry Pepsi is one that comes to mind.

As for the Rick Astley example, Thanksgiving Parade '08. I was in the middle of playing MapleStory while watching the parade, and then I hear this weird song playing off a Fosters' Home for Imaginary Friends parade float. Then, when I hear the awkward silence, I was wondering what the hell was going on and see everything just stopped on that float. Then: Rick Astley popped out. Because my parents have heard me playing this song at uber volume off the computer because I think it's awesome, they were trying to tell me Rick Astley popped up on screen even though I was watching already.

My parents think I love the guy's stuff so much and got me his entire "Whenever You Need Somebody" album for Christmas that year despite the fact it was just a meme that really stuck with me because I liked that one song. The three best songs on that album ALL sound alike: "Whenever You Need Somebody", "Never Gonna Give You Up", and "Together Forever". The rest is kinda.... eh.

^ Oh, and Jesus Christ, I was so amazed this song was from the 90's. Sounds like something bad that came out of the 80's.
