GTS Distribution Exploit
#1
Saw this on Bulbapedia.
Basically, these guys set up their own little server I guess and can give away special pokemon if you connect to their server.
Here's their website, with a picture guide on how to connect to them.
The pokemon can also be considered "legit" as it passed their legality test.
Obviously, the current pokemon is a special Jigglypuff.

Heard about this before but wasn't too interested. It's like a hacked Pokemon givaway. As if there aren't enough hacked Pokemon running around the official GTS servers.

derp, you don't have to get it from that website, you literally can just say the file of a pokemon to a python program, and it'll tell you the DNS to connect to.

Both of your posts imply you're talking about the site, especially this one:

"They" is the key word, obviously referring to the Pokemon being distributed on the site.

That point aside, the method you stated is just cloning Pokemon. Making a backup of your gamesave and extracting the Pokemon to send to others isn't too bad, but still something I'd see no use for. Unless you'd want to Pokesav Pokemon and send them over, in which case they're still hacked regardless of if they pass the legit checker or not.

so you're either getting a hacked, or cloned Pokemon from this. Both cases make the game less enjoyable, but I've no problem with people doing it for themselves. I simply stated I'm not interested in this sort of thing. Hacked Pokemon Givaways aren't exciting to me. I will admit the Missingo was a pretty cool idea though.

A legit Pokemon is either

1. Caught in-game without any external devices
2. Bred in-game without any external devices
3. Received from an official Nintendo event
4. Traded from someone who did one of the above

These aren't legit.
