I just can't get excited about all the advertising bots they managed to ban. Maybe low level characters shouldn't be allowed to talk in the FM. If they had to train to level 20 every time they got banned instead of spending 5 minutes getting through the Cygnus tutorials...

Ban the account hackers, you bunch of incompetent idiots.

Oh now that's just silly. Banning the account hackers won't help, because they log on to OTHER people's accounts.

They log onto their own accounts to loot the stuff they make their victims drop.
They log onto their own accounts to put up squishy liquids in mts for as much nx as the victim has.
They log onto their own accounts and set up shop displaying stolen goods shamelessly.
Everyone on the server knows who they are - except GMs and MWLBs, I guess.

And then they make another account, because it is so easy for them to re-accumulate the wealth. You won't stop them by banning them.

Maybe you could slow their process or irritate them enough to make them give up eventually, being optimistic here I know.

Well, if they're doing this to make real life cash, then that's not gonna slow them down.

They could get v& for what they are doing. That would stop them.

If Nexon would get off thier lazy asses and just hand over the faggot's IP addresses to the proper authorities already.

Then they just quit accessing accounts and start selling account information so someone else can do it. It's not a viable solution. As long as login ID's are out there there will be someone willing to pick up where another left off.

And FM spambots don't come back within minutes of being banned?

Ban the hackers' current characters. Even if only as a gesture to the users, to let us see Nexon is on our side and is trying to stop them. When the same person is selling stolen goods day after day with no hindrance, what kind of message does that give to users?

Also, if they start selling account information, the FBI can get them that much faster. Real world money is easily tracked.
