good drop rate for luk crystal?

Trying to get some of these and the drop rates seem to have plummeted. I used to remember getting a few an hour (at other maps mind you), now I've spent at least an hour at Memory Monk and not seen a single one.

Am I just at the wrong map? Or are these just super rare?

Who knows, I was looking for these too and no luck at all. I typed a search for them in Google and eventually lead back to here where I then looked into some of those spots.

However, I could only find one ore at Gobies and that was it. Really do not know, maybe they are super rare. I guess for now Gobies would be your best bet since they not only drop the ores, but have a chance to drop a refined LUK crystal.

(I am assuming you are asking for LUK crystal ores and not just LUK crystal since there is Gobies is the only enemy dropping them according to lolHiddenstreet.)

gobies drop these like nobodies business. When i use to goby on my hero(Sader back then) i got tons of these. I dont think its so much that they have a higher drop rate than other monsters but rather the fact that youre killing so many of them; 6 every few seconds.

I remember Retz drop them as well, they also have a good spawn too.

I found a fair number at Oblivion Monk Trainees, dunno if that's open to you though. Of course by lots I mean maybe 20 ores in a level.

Tried retz, was there for 20-30 minutes with nothing. Don't have a character suited to that map though. >_>

Going to try gobies. Not quite that far in ToT yet, I'll try it when I get there though. >__> <__<

Ive personally never seen gobies or any monster whatsoever drop refined crystals; either thats something new or HS is just being stupid as you said.

I trained a lot at gobies...but never saw a refined crystal dropping there D=

Probably at a very rare rate, if lolHiddenstreet is not lying. I am currently searching for them too, so I suppose I will say something if they ever drop. For now, I guess we can assume they drop at a rate rare as skillbooks.
