Zhelm scammed: NlghtILord

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I got zhelm scammed by NlghtILord. Granted, I did make some pretty stupid moves, but I'm pretty pissed and ought to let other people know about him.

nLghtiLord and xhencheyx, most likely the same person.

After this he logged off (about midnight EST). My computer crashed just because it sucks, so I made most of this thread for about 35 minutes before logging back on, to find his other character, xhencheyx, on.

It was pretty late, so I logged off a few minutes afterward. I'll probably ask him about it tomorrow just for the lulz.

2.) If you were in a zrunning group and didn't have 3 buyers before a zrun, wouldn't the FM be a good place to get last-minute buyers?

I am in a "Zak Running Group" and I can tell you that if I have less than 3 buyers I don't go in FM and sell random people Zhelmet in the last minute; in fact I know noone that does that. Only scammer does that.

If I have less then 3 buyers, I usually just tell my friend to go on my zrun mule and loot the extra zhelmet for me, than I would scissor the zhelmet and sell it for profit=]

Yeah, that's good idea. People can google his IGN and know that's he's a scammer.

He already got beat. I googled his IGN right now and there's a kid on Nexon forums that said he got scammed.

Anyways, I doubt that anyone would Google NlghtILord's ign, since, well, who Googles this stuff?

Just look at the Sleepywood threads of legitimate zrunners this time.

Doing your research with this is not really hard. Take a look at the high levels you meet... find out who the best guilds are. Do this before you need to buy. A lot of the high levels on your server are clustered in one of several guild, and they all know each other. They will usually post on SW, so there's something to start with.

Buying anything like that at random is dangerous. I won't call you a noob cause I've done similar dumb things, but that's how you learn. To be honest, 30 million is chump change, so don't feel so bad. When I was starting out, Zhelms cost 250 million, and 250 million back then was way more than 250 million is now.

Why are you always such an ass? He was only making people aware of the fact that he got scammed, and giving a warning to people who he may attempt to scam in the future.

This isn't really the place for this, as Southperry generally discourages hacking or scamming threads, particularly without proof. That being said, I'm sorry it happened, that really sucks man
