Just Hacked: What Should I Focus On?

I'd be careful with rebuilding right now, I've heard of people on SW who after getting hacked got some old equips off a mule and they got jacked again. :x

Before anything else, secure your account. Make sure you got no keyloggers on the computer, and change your PIC and pass to something that could not be easily guessed or cracked. If you need more information see my guide in the Guides section. And don't share your info with anyone, that's the common reason for people being hacked.

While this might sound boring and redundant, it would really suck if you re-equipped your character only to have him get ripped off again. Some hackers do that -- they hack you, then leave you open to get new gear and steal THAT too.

You should try sending a ticket to Nexon. They now have a sub section specifically made for accounts that have been hacked.

I think there's the problem Matt. Your password is only 6 characters, which supposedly can be cracked with some program that works on 8 characters or less passwords. Mines is 9 from asking Nexon to reset my password, and if I get off my butt and manually change it, I'd make it 12-16 characters so no amount of brute force can crack it.

My pass is now the maximum number of characters, but my old one wasn't cracked by means of a password cracker.
