So there's this chick.

I think she likes me. I met her at the cafe, that I regularly go to. She's a white chick, pretty cute, she likes anime, k? Point being, she came up to me one day when I was sitting down at the cafe, reading the newspaper and sipping my espresso. She goes "Oh hey, Khoi!", so I raised my eyebrow and said "er.... hi.", and she basically smiled at me. Then she goes "I'm Kelly, pleasure to meet you!", etc. Then we got acquainted, and she starts asking me some of those rather weird questions just to engage conversation in. She goes "So yeah, I'm done reading all of these mangas, like.. [etc]", and I'm like "Uh-huh...". She goes "And I was wondering, would you have a manga that you'd recommend?!", and she seemed really happy when she asked. So I suggested her a couple, etc.

So when I left, I later saw her at my friend's New Year's Eve party. I'm like "Oh man, hey Kelly! I didn't know you were coming!", and later, I found out she knew my friend, Paul. .... Figures. Couple days later, she started chatting with me on FB, and saying like "Hi" every day. Which is cute, but it's getting a bit weird. Like, I can't tell if she's being overly-friendly, but I'm not one for socialization if I don't know the other person too well . . . . (That and I already have a girlfriend . . . My FB status clearly says that!)

PS: Forgot to mention that I heard rumors that she is technically WITH Paul, so why the hell is she so overly-friendly with me? I can't tell if this chick is really friendly, has an Asian-fetish, or what. But it's kinda funny..

But that doesn't matter. She completely disregarded your Facebook status. She's already proven herself to be a stupid twat, and I'd just ignore her entirely. Don't make eye contact. Don't even look at what kind of manga she's reading. She's not there. She was never there to begin with.

It's not even that. I just find it awkward. Other girls have done this before, as always, I don't really ignore them. I still attempt to say "hi", but I won't say much after, if I don't feel like making conversation (which is .. 80% of the time).

No. Technically, sometimes when I play Smash, I can be a serious plum. No joke. Like, as soon as the match starts, I'll say "Good game". The person will then say "What?", and I'll say "That's what the Asians say when they know the match is already over.", tee-hee.

But uhhh, yeah. LOLmelee. I've played girls on Melee a couple times, I only go easy if I'm bored. That's the only game I don't play easy against either gender.

Advice from a girl: Chick with Asian Fetish, do her and leave her...nothing will come of it. Especially when it comes to conversations that start off with "what type of manga do you recommend" versus her asking if anything interesting happened in the paper that day. Unless "manga" is one of your vasts interests and you can connect with someone over that, go for it on a serious level I suppose. But really....me being the judgemental and stereotyping person I am (total sarcasm) she seems empty in the head.
