whats the plot to FMA: Brotherhood?

in that, i want to know this: is it a rehash of the old anime, does it follow the manga more closely, or is a new plot altogether?

From what I heard, brotherhood is the remake to FMA that follows the plot of the manga. I hear that they had to make up an ending for the anime since it ran faster than the manga or something of that sort; thus this new remake is better able to follow the manga since more of it has come out.

It follows the manga. I've been watching it since episode 1, and I can say this with 100% certainty.

i never really read the manga myself, but i do know that theres a bigger story than what the first anime had.

FMA:Brotherhood is more about stopping the Homunculie(?), but still about getting their bodies back, I personally prefer FMA:Brotherhood more then the original. But that's just my opinion.

It follows the manga, mind you I stopped watching at episode 24 since my bandwidth died D: but it seemed pretty exact.

One thing im liking already about Brotherhood is just the alchemy. In the first one, everyones alchemy seemed underpowered, even Ed's. In Brotherhood, everyones alchemy is just awesome, no matter who does it, it really seems like there is a power to it compared to the first's.

I'm loving all the Armstrong. 2 of them!
