Sand rats are like two maps left once you leave Magatia I think and if it helps, do that Manji quest where he tele's you to Ariant 5 times.

Ariant quests. If you're an Aran, you can start killing Horned/Zombie Mushies in the Ant Tunnel mini-dungeon at level 18 if you can afford the potions. From level 26~30 you can do the Mushroom Castle quests from the Camel Taxi in Ariant.

The Camel Cab also has a series of quests about the Mushroom Castle. If your not level 30 by the end of a few quests, he'll give you 3 repeatable training quests. They just require a few ETC drops and the other has a timer and asks you to kill a certain amount of monsters.
