Which monitor should I buy at Christmas time

Stuck at deciding which to buy..

Not planning to buy at Newegg of course, just using them as examples. Going to buy this locally.

Well, my advise, just go check out the monitors in a shop near you to see them with your own eyes (with them powered on offcourse ), says more then any website will ever tell you.

All monitors (for a reasonably price) are good these days, especially samsung. It's just a matter of opinion where you want to look at for the upcoming years!

In the shop, check for:
- View angle (look at the monitor from the side / top - what monitor has the best colors there?
- Dead pixel warranty (dead pixels is something you don't want, and it's possible that your monitor might have one or more, even if the chance of happening is very small these days, don't believe it if the seller says it's not happening anymore, just ask if you can bring it back if it occurs and get a new one).

Well, going only off only the specs, I'd go with the first one simply because it has a 2ms reponse rate. The other one has a higher resolution, but 1920x1080 is the norm now.

Although definitely go with Devil on this one. Find them in a store first.

Okay, sorry for the 1 month bumpish, but I decided on another monitor and already ordered it.
