French Question

I want to translate something for class, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
I want to ask "When do we learn about Math in french class", or something to that extent, in French.
I came up with "Quand est-ce nous apprenons de maths en classe de fracias".
Google Translate tells me "Quand pouvons-nous apprendre sur les maths en classe de français"

I don't trust online translators, and I have only a semester of French. How would I ask his? :[

This is wrong. Either do "Quand pouvons-nous apprendre" or "Quand est-ce que nous allons apprendre", not both at the same time. The first one is "When can we learn" and the second is "When will we learn".

Technically, the second one says "When are we going to learn?". If you wanted to say "When will we learn?' you would write "Quand apprendrons-nous" or "Quand est-ce que nous apprendrons." which is Futur Simple as opposed to Futur Proche. Just a simple grammatical tidbit that I noticed. You can apply inversion to either way not just the first way. But Rob was incorrect as you cannot have inversion and est-ce que in the same sentence. We just learned this recently and I wanted to put it to use.

Why "sur le maths?" Doesn't that mean "above the math?"

Actually you don't need to say "Quand est-ce que" and then use inversion at the same time, or rather you shouldn't.
Because inversions are used to ask questions but since you're already saying "quand" you don't need to invert.
And by inversion I mean "pouvons-nous"
I would say "Quand est-ce que nous allons etudier les maths dans la classe de francais" which would be "When will we study math in French class" if that's what you want to say.

Then instead of "etudier" it would be "apprendre". But my point is that you don't need to you inversion when you say use "est-ce que".
