How do you get

You earn them, along with the shoes, from the chain quests for the Demon Hunt, no? Sadly, you must be under level 30 to complete them all. Sucks for us high levels.

Otherwise, you'll have to use Scissors of Karma to transfer the equips.

You sure about this, cause i did all the demon hunt up to the point of killing asteroth, no gloves or shoes, unless your talking about some other chain of quests I must've missed.
