Fear
#1
Anyone ever felt fear when trying to sleep or in a dream? Sometimes when I lay down to sleep, random scarey images play in my head, and my body becomes incapable of moving, I feel cold sweat on my head, and my eyes are open, I can't move at all, and you feel complete and total fear, also you try to move really hard and when you succeed in moving like a finger or your hand, the fear goes away. In another case in the middle of the night, my eyes suddenly opened, and I was forced to stare up at the ceiling, I can kinda see with the side of my eyes my bedroom (I decided to sleep in the living room cause it was hot) and a humanoid thats completely orange with horns coming out of its body and face came out of my room, approached me, stared at my face, and disappeared, then I woke up, and I thought I would be super scared because of what I just experienced, but I just brushed it off and went back to sleep... Another example of this type of fear that I experienced was at school, I fell asleep on my desk with my head down, suddenly my eyes were forced open and under my desk was hiding a little boy who had an orange face also with horns protruding from his cheeks staring at me, and I woke up, but for some reason I didn't freak out and tell my friends about it, I was just like whatever...

Basically what happens is.
1. Your eyes suddenly open
2. Your body is incapable of moving (unless you try very hard and somehow succeed, then you break this "trance")
3. Random disturbing images playing through your mind
4. See a humanoid or a "ghost"
6. Wake up, completely remembering what happened but feeling like it wasn't a big deal, but when you think back on what happened, you KNOW it was a very paranormal experience.

Congratulations, you have just experienced sleep paralysis.

I think I've only suffered it once or twice, and I hope I don't have to again. I saw some boxer-shitting stuff last time it happened.

Congratulations, you are psychopathic. No, it never happened to me. In Soviet Russia, fear is afraid of ME.

The title looked familiar so I checked my Notepads and found this old thing... read if you want

Lying in bed a tear rolled down my cheak. I brushed it out as it tickeld the inner side of my ear. The saying 'The only thing to fear, is fear itself' shot across my head. I'd heard that saying many times over the years, in a variety of ways. Always had I managed to see truth in it, except fr this moment right now. I had just finished a book of a series of 7 and the grand morale of the story sank in, like my pride and most of my self-asteem had sank to the bottom of my feet over time. I now realised what I had been fearing for the past year and at this time the most. I feared to embrace my fear. See when you fear something you allow it to control you. Being controlled by fear is about as good of a plan as letting a monkey fly a plane.
Fear criplles you. It chases you into hiding, which you will find in whatever makes you feel safe, for me, my computergame. Sure laugh, point and laugh. But bare this, at least I know where my fear lies. In time you will all come across something that will scare you to bits, that you'd wish would've happened to anyone but you, but it will. It will happen to everyone. Just don't decide on doing what I did. Running away from fear, thinking that facing, embrasing it will allow it to control you and swallow you, are simply rediculous ideas. Embrasing fear will make it go away. It will enrich you and make you stronger. Stronger than your conquest and your original state of mind, even before the fear struck, combined. I think conquering your fear,
expecially your first, really big one, will force respect from those around you. On top of all, respect from yourself. Because who respects you if you don't respect yourself, if you allow yourself to be affraid and chased to a sanctuary so you can escape and forget your worries. Just remember this: your family will always love you, always have your back, as long as you aknowledge that you need their help and ask for it. I realised truly what my fear was today: to step in, and become part of, society. Think what you want, but that's the cold hard truth. All the time I spent thinking to myself 'why does society want to take me away?', 'why must it demand all
of these things of me accompanied with coming of age?' and so on, while I've known the answer all along. Irony forbid that I understood the day I did come of age. I do not exactly remember what day it was, even what month, but I remember I was seventeen. I realised that one second, so many things became clear to me, all at the same time. Things like school aren't made to entertain you, nor is to tear you away from your home, or even to help you study at university, as most people, counting me in at the time, think. It is to train you. The mere purpose of educating you is so that you can, in time, repay the society you grew up in, that kept you safe and that formed
you into the person you are, as the role in society that you fulfill. Paying back in any way that you're comfortable with, and that society allows. Thinking about that now I realise I owe society that much. Sure you hear only about the bad things and how, at the moment, my gouvernement is a total mess. Well we don't actually have a governement at the time. But this sole fact does not mean that the state, country, world I grew up in does not deserve my respect. Think about all the good things it's brought forth. Think about all the happy times. It is up to me, the world is counting on little me, to help create a world where all our children and children's children can acquire the same protection, understanding, love, discovering and coming to insight as I have. Still the step remains of embracing my fear, as having these thoughts does not mean my fear dissolves into thin air, I wish. No, forget that, I don't wish it did. I need facing this fear and dealing with it to become more whole. If this fear would just vanish the next one just might be fatal. I know these things have the effect of snowballing on you and that's something I'm no loking forward to. I'm not sure at all how I will be cast in the play that is the world, but I know I will play the part for the greater good and learn to live with it.
Thanks for reading and please, try to enjoy your life to the fullest. You might not say it now but I've heard and witnessed all to many times that it is, indeed, to short.

It was just a spur of the moment thing and I'm no native english speaker so some stuff might be off.

But yeah that was kinda off-topic, I think it sounds a lot like sleep paralysis yeah. What I have sometimes is like I hear a really LOUD noise when I start to fall asleep, but there is no sound at all. It can really hurt my head even though there is nothing, kinda weird.
The paranormal activity thing you experience is a combination of remembering your dreams and them still continuing while you're awake, and the subconscious assosiations you make between it and things you've seen for real (aka movies/series/shadows).
