Bad form Adult Swim...
#1
Playing a Robot Chicken where a dog breaks into a court room and uses a machine gun to kill the people inside because they wouldn't listen to him? Really? I understand it was probably a pre-planned episode, but did nobody think that one through? With Fox news broadcasting a report about Ft Hood at the same time? *Facepalm*

I give it a 1 out of 10 for comparison :c\

Not really that connected. Only part that is is that they killed people.

With a machine gun. The shooter also used a machine gun. Maybe it's because I saw both of them side by side on 2 tv screens that it struck me. Either way, bad form to show a crazed gunman shooting innocent people while the news channels are still reporting "breaking news" for a similar shooting.

Almost any weapon reminds everyone of WW2.

It's clearly a disgusting reference for that one too.

And? It can't be a reference just because it uses firepower. Heck, those same guys could have opened fire and kill 10 iraquis and nobody would say a thing, and you'd be enjoying the show regardless.

Just a coincidence. It's like people freaking out over that episode of Cowboy bebop with the Columbia after it got destroyed - it was made a long time ago, they couldn't have known. Mas I know you're a troper, that's what "Funny Aneurysm Moment" is all about.

(On the topic of the Cowboy Bebop episode, I can't even understand why people got angry about that - I think it turned that episode from being sorta silly into a glorious tribute.) Obviously that's not the case for the robot chicken episode, but really, if a dog shooting up a courtroom of people for ignoring him didn't offend you before, why is it suddenly so offensive now..?

I never said I was offended, hurt, or angry. Just that it was bad form, or generally something that they didn't think through.

It's not like they did it on purpose, they most likely planned out what they were going to show on that day before the guy even did what he did.

the schedule is posted on their website usually a month or 2 ahead of time, thats like saying lets not show any episodes of family guy cause mark harmin farted himself to death. its not like they could last min pull the episode cause pomegranate went down....
