MapleWatch Leaf Brigade Applications: Round 2!

I'm starting to just think that everyone here is sour against it because no one was accepted in.

I think he meant recruit seriously. They're either way too lenient with recruiting or way too strict. I, for one, think they were too strict the first time around. Asking questions like "have you hacked before?" would probably entice them to kick everyone who was honest and said yes thinking it was the best thing to do. If people lied and they found out about it, obviously they would kick them too.

Nexon is probably way too adamant in enforcing their ToS, despite how s'hitty it's written. If they had done things right the first time, they wouldn't really need to recruit so fast.

As far as everyone being sour about it in general, for one, it's ridiculously corny. Obviously no one is going to respect something if they go about it like that. Even the GM position nowadays isn't really feared or respected. Back when GMs rarely talked to anyone and yet sometimes appeared did they have that kind of reputation. Nowadays with those releases on what their business life is like, and how corny it was written, no one cares about GMs anymore. Why then should we care about mini-GMs who only report to hired employees? The premise of the organization was a great start, but execution leaves a s'hit load to be desired.

I will apply just for the direct like with GMs, to ask them about Tespia. :3

Just kidding, obviously. If I would get chosen I'd try to do my job the best.

But oh well. I doubt I will ever be able to.

The timed interview thingy is something kinda good. I remember someone suggesting something like that for Tespia or something. Lol.

This program is a pineappleing rip off. Why would anyone sane want to work for Nexon, help them do things that THEY should have done themselves, and not even get paid for it.

Corrections in BOLD! Smile

P.S. Note to 2nd point: If anyone thinks anyone would abuse being a MWLB member in their own "world" they play in, this whole system would fail anyway, since you can't trust noone, never, ever, anytime, anymore...

I kinda don't see the point in this either. I'd imagine that they monitor your movements every now and then, to make sure you're not just using your account to teleport to your buddies for chit-chat on the job. But really, what are you going to do on your own server? Ignore reports that aren't sent by people you know?

Its not like they can spawn and drop items for their friends or anything, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to patrol their own server.

Personally, I know I would squeeze down on people I know are scum on my server, and since i also dislike em one can argue I do it for personal reasons. If it's on a foreign server, you have no knowledge about the drama that goes on behind the curtains, and have no personal agendas.
Also, what's to stop selfish people from blackmailing the scums for their duped gear in such a case? Even a different server won't stop the worst ones, since they can make a noob character, learn about the cheaters, take the blackmailed stuff, and transfer it to their own server. But at least it will be harder if it's not on your homeserver.

Because some people--believe it or not, now--aren't greedy to the point of always requiring something for the deeds to get done? Some people are just nice and care to do it because they want to.

What's even more tiring is the people that constantly think that running a game, and everything attached to it, is as easy as making chocolate milk. Just because you don't see everything they're doing, doesn't meant that they aren't doing something.

Anyways, good luck to all those who tryout this time. Poast

I'm not saying it's wrong to be nice, but people are almost begging Nexon to be able to help them. Applying to this program is like giving money to a hobo so he can buy more drugs with that: you are helping Nexon use less GMs and gain more money, so that they can use this money for their own PERSONAL uses. If they said something like "Look guys, were short on money for GMs, if you help us we will use the money were saving to make this game better" I would have said "Meh", but using your players' kindness and wish to help for your own personal gain is just a scam.

I am not doubting the fact Nexon are developing the game, but I am sure that they could have done it much better. That mainly comes from knowing very well how better the game was when it was ran by Wizet, and how 3 people managed to create a better server and give better support for it.
