Damage Taken (Phys) Formula Changed?

So I get on, and take a touch hit from Snowman, which normally did 15xx damage to me. And it did 134x damage. So was the formula changed or something?

Did you change any equipment? Defense actually has more of an effect than people think, but it's still very small.

Edit: Attack belt maybe, they have a good amount of defense.

Nope, my only equip change was my Reverse Evernew, which is 125 Def, compared to my Red Arzuna (~105) DEF. I got the 4th job medal as well, but that has no def. And i dont have a Witch Belt yet.

The forumula is the same, damage taken is never the same you just noticed you took a differ amount this time around.

Example. You can see i took two differ touch damages from bf i got hit for 9384 then 9110 (pause before fade out). Click 3:02 to see what i'm talking about

13xx and 15xx actually isn't that much off, John. I often run into Zak body and get 6.5~8.2k ish dmg. That's a 27% dmg fluctuation.

It's all pretty random. The teddy bear hits like 6k-8k I think. With a single attack not like differing attacks.

Still seems like it was changed. Highest hit i took killing Snowmans this time was around 1470ish.

How much STR, DEX, INT, LUK? I'll get snowman's details.

Oh and what job?

Bowmaster, total STR 111, DEX is somewhere around 600 i think (not 100% sure) and int and luk should be 4+15+5+2= around 26. those stats shouldnt matter tho right a-@ maybe int for extra magic def, but im talking touch damage here.

For Str 111, Dex 600, Int 26, Luk 26, level 131, def 395, bowman
with Snowman: watt 450, level 90

His calculator gives 1355-1456

Do you know if PG works on bosses yet? For the longest time it's shown 80% hit 40% reflected to other people, even though the warrior sees it as 80-20 (which is the actual damage it does)

pg works on bosses. It just reflects a smaller amount back is all.

i saw this and i was in shock for a bit LOL, BF hitting 7.x ~8.x k i waited for that change is been forever, cant wait to see anego slap with the real numbers using achilles
