Attention UK Students: Cheap Windows 7/Office 2007

http://www.microsoft.com/uk/education/studentoffer/

£30 Windows 7

£38.95 Office 2007

All you need is a student e-mail address (.ac.uk)

You can get Windows 7 Professional as well, for only £30, but they advise against it due to you may need a system wipe.

I did the e-mail thing, and am going to check it out when I get to college.

Being enrolled in a school thats enrolled MSDN AA is not the same as being enrolled in a school with school email.

With that said my school is NOT enrolled in the MSDN AA.

Check the first option.

You can get it for 30 USD as well if you have an email from your school.

because $30 is nothing. Rolleyes no problems with a legit copy either. you won't be locked out of future updates/software eventually like you would with a warez'd copy.

I'm getting them for free from my mum's workplace, this is just a heads-up to people who don't want to pirate.

nga please... I just updated last night.

Though, the program that I found that activated my copy of Windows 7 wasn't easy to come by (It wasn't one of those bullshit keygens), so I guess if you're too lazy to spend hours upon hours finding a legit torrent/activator, $30 isn't much even for a tight-budget college student.

I got both of them for free (AA ftw) and I can't install windows 7 because I don't feel like reformatting my HDD and since my computer case is a compact case I don't have any room for another hard disk (physical room)
