OK, I was away for a while, so I'm not even sure if this was answered before... Well, You are all aware how Vista HATES Maple. Specially at Zakum. Not long ago, Felix said that some service pack made it harder to not DC. My question is, though:
Is there any way to not DC proved to work? Like, right now, etc. I still need that Zakum Certificate, you know :p

I know that Graphic-shifting during long boss runs works for Vista dc problems.
Every 5 mins or so (maybe only once when all the zak arms die if the run is fast), change your maple graphic quality to a different value.

Definate get service pack 1 (though not 2). Yesterday my brother zaked with SP1, and turned down the graphics all the way down before the last arm died (more of a precauction, I don't think it was necessary), and didn't DC or even get close to it.

I zak on vista on two different laptops and they actually run a bit differently from each other, lol. For one, I am generally okay to play in window mode and change the graphics setting sometime while I am in the altar (note that I said change and you don't necessarily have to lower it, just change it). On the other laptop I keep it in full-screen mode and change the graphics settings more regularly (i.e. once sometime during arms, and once for each body) as well as alt-tabbing out and right back in (to be safe I do this after arms and each body). It's annoying, but it does the trick.
