Knight of Cygnus: Soul Master
#61
It's not a fail... With the Dawn Warrior's 1st job skillbook, you max out all the useful stuff and then you're left with a decision between 11 soul or 10 iron body and 1 soul.

In the long run, both of those skills are next to useless, so there's no real bad (or good) choice. I personally took 11 soul, just to have it on while I run in low level areas on the off chance that it kills something and gives me a monster book card.

Kasuhitomi Wrote:I actually changed my build... At lv 30, I have:

-Maxed Iron Body (20 SPs)
-Maxed Power Strike (20 SPs)
-Maxed Slash Blast (20 SPs)
-Lv 1 Soul (1)

Reasons? Lv 11 Soul is useless, lv 1 Soul only for fun and looks. I wanted Iron Body because even with +30 def, it's better than having 'no' def, and it's always cool to have more buffs, kekeke. For lv 30+, I'm still debating on my build for it, but I'll think as I go along. I'll probably have 1 Soul Blade, maxed Runner, then enough Mastery for get 6 Booster, then maxing Mastery, and finally then maxing Blade.

If you're gonna go with this build, your Soul Master's HP will be lower than others. It's like going Power Strike/Slash Blast first instead of Max HP Increase as a normal Warrior. So yeah, I don't recommend this build. You could probably add SP into Iron Body instead of Soul Sprite though.

You left out Max HP increase, the most important first job warrior skill. That's why its fail.

You do realize you're jumping all over an obvious omission, right? It's literally impossible for him not to have it, considering the choice he's debating. If he didn't have it, he could max both.
