does timeless/reverse weapon skill effects affect cygnus?
#1
i saw some skill bonus for those weapons and i was wondering...if a thunder breaker equip a Reverse/Timeless Equinox, will it get lvl 21 barrage since the original lvl of barrage was 30? or will dawn warrior with Reverse/Timeless Nibleheim/Executioners get 21 brandish? or wind archer with Reverse/Timeless Engaw? or night walker with Reverse/Timeless Lampion? anyone gonna try this?

I haven't tried it myself, way too low level for that, but I am certain that won't work. That'd be like raising Explorer skills to 31.

False. These boosted skills apply to Adventurer and Aran fourth job only.

As in Freeze Standing//Power Stance and High Defense//Achilles, or were there additional level up skills added specific to Aran?

Nothing would happen. Thunder Breakers only have 20 levels designated in the skill data. They cannot go beyond this because that reaches undefined territory.

They also have different skill ID's, and since both the Timeless/Reverse weapons and Skillbooks specify by skill ID Cygnus can't benefit anyway.

Example -
Normal Barrage is 5121007
Cygnus Barrage is 15111004

Skillbooks and Weapons both refer to 5121007, so no love for Cygnuts unless they change something.

Well, the Nibleheim sword gives +1 Blast, +1 Brandish. It just depends on what class you are I suppose. This sorta means skill IDs don't matter much.

And yes, no love for Cygnus.

EDIT: For eos367... Bleh not what I meant lol xD I was saying more along the lines of MS devs and whatnot being picky-choosy with who gets what.

How exactly do the skillID's not matter?

If you don't have a skill that matches the ID, you get nothing.
That seems pretty material there.

Hero Brandish is 1121008, a Cygnuts brandish is 11111004 so no boost to Brandish for KoC and neither of them have Blast (1221009) so neither of them benefit there. Skill IDs mean everything.
