The sense of smell is pretty great actually. How I've gone 17 years without smelling or tasting properly, I'll never know. Too bad it's only temporary until I get a surgery later on in the year.
Went to the doctor today to check out if I had a deviated septum since I've fought with my mom for YEARS about it. I said something about breathing through my mouth 24/7 in front of the dentist and our family physician, and they both told my mom to get my nose checked out. This time, she actually listened.
Not a deviated septum; just my turbanates (or however you spell it) are too big and block my airways in my nose. He did some thingy to shrink them temporarily while he looked in there.
And must I say, McDonald's tastes pretty good, actually. :3
