Dear Maplers,

Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update for MapleSEA on the 6th August 2009, from 0730hrs to 1100hrs (+8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

[Event]Welcome KOC Event
Goodies available to Knights of Cygnus characters created after 29th July 2009! Simply go to the Cash Shop to receive the following goodies!

- Safety Charm (Comes in bundle of 2)
- Twin Coupon 1800hrs – 2400hrs (7 days)
- 24hrs 2x EXP Coupon (7 days)

EXP Item Drop Event
Want more experience points when you kill a monster? From 6th August 2009 to 19th August 2009, all monsters will stand a chance to drop the following Bonus EXP items!

- EXP Increase(S): Provide 30 Bonus EXP!!
- EXP Increase(M): Provide 200 Bonus EXP!!
- EXP Increase(L): Provide 500 Bonus EXP!!

Maple Weapon Exchange Event
Maple Weapon Exchange will be changed from NPC Maple Administrator to NPC Joyce.
Event will end soon! Hurry up and grab the Maple Weapons from NPC Joyce NOW!!

I find this just ridiculous. We all know GMS will probably do this too, but I'm hoping that GMS will actually not copycat the other regions against its usual feel to copycat everything.

But Nonmaker'd Timeless > Maker'd Reverse, at least where weapons are concerned. Now if Time Stones were in the boxes, Maker'd Timeless would be possible and much win would be had.

Maybe Asiasoft likes big numbers? I mean, a game at patch .80 would sound pretty cool opposed to like .15, but that could lead eyes in different directions wondering why there were so many patches...

Isn't this more of a server maintenance than a patch? There's really nothing new.

To my knowledge the fishing system was glitched. I read topics complaining about it saying that people dc from it. Since those topics aren't around anymore, I'm assuming they are fixed by the patch?

You do realise that this patch was held directly a week after the Balrog patch, right?

It does not count as the monthly content patch, rather a bug fix patch of sorts.

Boss Balrog
The infallible Balrog, who was sealed up in the Underground Temple at Sleepywood by Tristan decades ago, has been slowly preparing to be resurrected. Mu Young was emphatic in his request that YOU must prevent Balrog, who’s standing past the sealed-up door, from fully resurrected, and that YOU must be prepared to face him. Balrog should not be underestimated! Form up your Squad with a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 30 players to go against him!

Monster Carnival Season 2
Players between level 51 ~ level 69 take note! Monster Carnival Season 2 is out! With more powerful Monsters, battle out with your friends and stand a chance to win yourself with fabulous equipments! Creation of New Knight of Cygnus Character
Knights of Cygnus can now be created without the restriction of a level 20 character! You may now choose to create Knight of Cygnus Character or Adventurers from the Character Creation Page!

2X EXP Event on a Fresh New Month!
Prepare yourself for the fresh new month and enjoy 2X the EXP on the first weekend of the month on 1st and 2nd August 2009, from 1400hrs to 1600hrs (GMT +8).

Window Mode
Window mode is now implemented for your convenience! You may now choose to play MapleSEA in Window Mode! Simply make your selection under System Option!

Monster Box
Treasure Boxes are dropping from monsters in MapleSEA! Stand a chance to get RARE items like Reverse Weapons and Timeless Weapons from these Boxes! There will be 2 types of Boxes!
Gold Monster Box
• Dropped by Singapore & Malaysia map monsters at different rates but you can surely find this in ALL Boss monsters at 100% rate!
• You can get in-game items, Top 100 popular Gachapon items and Timeless items!
• All items come with 9 upgrading slots available.
Silver Monster Box
• Dropped by all other level 20 and above monsters.
• You can get in-game items, Top 100 popular Gachapon items and Reverse items!
• All items come with 9 upgrading slots available.
To open the Gold Monster Boxes and Silver Monster Boxes, you would have to use the Gold and Silver Master Keys to open up the respective boxes. If you are lucky enough to get one of the 10 most popular items, timeless & reverse items from the Monster Box, the Monster Box alarm will an announcement in the game!

Gachapon Alarm
Gachapon alarm has been implemented. Announcements will be made once you have gotten any of the Top 100 most popular Items from Gachapon Machines! Try your luck now!

Master M Event (Available from 29th July 2009 to 3rd September 2009)
Help the Special Agents protect against Master M! As long as you are level 10 and above, join the Special Agents by speaking to NPC Gaga and work hard to earn what it takes to become the Ultimate Agent. Look out for what you can get from the agents and be WOW by the items you get from them!
