The Dawn Warrior
#1
Hey, i am used to play a sin, but thought it would be boring to create a "Night Walker" KoC since i already have a sin, so i decided to go for a Dawn Warrior!

Now i want my dawn warrior to be pretty perfect! That means i want him to be able to actually HIT the monsters, that requires Dex... In that case, if i go Dexless then how should my equipment look like?

- How should i add my stats? (when to stop Dex)

- What equipment should i have? (Stats on the different items and so)

I hope you can come up with the perfect build Smile Please keep in mind i CANNOT afford a godly... although i would like to see a awesome and a godly build =)

Don't cap your DEX, cap your accuracy.

Wise words every warrior should follow. Stop getting accuracy when you can hit the monster your training on enough to satisfy you. For me, that's 100% of the time.

You could base it on your funding. starting with nothing? Cap around 40-50 DEX. Okay-ish funding, 30 DEX. Absolutely blazing with meso, 4.

Well, if you can afford at least a 10 dex sauna robe and a green bamboo hat/brown bandanna (more preferable on the latter) and sniper pills (lol) I'd suggest 30-40 dex. Sure, I have trouble hitting King Slime with my 30 base dex (roughly 75% of the time I hit), but other than that, I'm fine.

But, a dawn warrior gets 6 points to level 70...

That means i could get 5 str and still get 1 dex every level... that would keep my dex 2 over my own level, in that way i would get the strenght as a dexless... but i wouldnt be dexless and i would hit every monster like a king Rolleyes

Or?, Would that be the wrong thing to do?

In case i stop training dex when i have 50-60 then how much dex would i need in the equipment?.... What if i can get a +15 Dex Sauna Robe?.. And maybe a Dex Cape?

Then you'd just be an dexless adventurer with lots of accuracy. Point of the cygnuses gaining 6 AP a level is to give them a good mid-game.

Like Myles said, accuracy > DEX. Each point of DEX adds .8 ACC, so equips that add base accuracy are wonderful.

Don't buy a sauna. Warrior equips don't require DEX to wear, so you could get a well-scrolled Blue Crusader Chainmail (+4 DEX clean, can be scrolled for more DEX and some ACC), and later a Battle Road. Both options take a good bit of mesos, but you can always 100% the Blue Sader Chain (+14 DEX).

Capes, as far as I know, are generally used to get more of your main stat. If you can hit what you're training on 100% of the time without a cape, get a STR cape; otherwise, get a DEX cape. Pink capes (which add attack and have 5 slots) and Yellow capes (which have no stats except for DEF, but have 8 slots) are your best options.

You should also aim to get a Brown Bandana until you can afford a zhelm.

How would i know how much accuracy the monsters i train against requires... i mean, i wouldnt probably train at a monster if i miss alot on it, as it would take a long to kill it....

Now you say i shouldnt wear a saunarobe... But then i dont get why all on the Top Rank List of warriors wears em :/....

Better availability and resell value (since archers, thieves, and pirates use them too).

What I'm saying is that at low levels, you can either pick between a Blue Sader Chain with +14 DEX (or more depending on what scrolls you use, although higher DEX chains often cost 100m+) or a bathrobe scrolled for DEX (again, same situation, although with 100% scrolls it ends up being 10 DEX and 10 speed). Eventually you can either swap to a Battle Road (for some base STR and ACC) or just upgrade your bath/sauna.

There are accuracy calculators all over the internet.

That would be because when you leech level 30-120 you don't actually need gear.

Warrior overalls are cheaper, and generally have better defense stats.
