Miss can kill?
#1
I have noticed it countless times on my paladin and my striker, sometimes a mob have one last bit of health left and I did a "miss", it actually kills the mob.

It was not lag, I don't lag during normal times and I have seen it plenty of times during different occasions.

So anyone else notice the same thing? Or is it just me?

Edit: btw it looks like it only happens when I'm only a few acc short to hit the mob 100%. Happened alot with my paladin in TT, and just see it again with my striker in elder wraith.

Client and server don't always agree which hits and misses... the server's word is law so that's the damage that gets done. you just can't see it. It happens to me more that the visible damage doesn't match the damage done, since I don't hunt stuff I can't hit.

^That's what I'm guessing, just need confirmation from others xD

It's exactly as Stereo said. I can't count the number of times my arch mage did over 80,000 damage in a single shot to Nest Golems, and they'd still be standing with a sliver of health left.

The server is able to mimic the random number generator of the client in most cases. Even though the damage shown is sent to the server, somehow the damage DEALT is less.. wierd

This happens when you use the accuracy from Energy Charge to hit something. I'm guessing other classes have weird accuracy boosts too, though I don't know where it's from.
