Aran job instructor
#1
I'm still unsure of who the job instructor for Aran really is - it's not Lilin, right? :f6:

there's not really a "job instructor" per se. The idea behind Aran is that you were once a powerful warrior, but your power wained while you were frozen, and you lost your memory, causing you to forget your skills. You'll do quests over time which lead you to remember your skills. I suppose you could say that Lilin is it, but also Maha (the "mind" of your polearm) and a guy in Lith Harbor help to guide you through your quest to regain your abilities.

You turn from an Aran-Beginner into an Aran by talking to a giant Polearm frozen in ice, more or less.
What Isaac says is also true.

That's interesting. So you gain your skills one at a time, like 4th job skills?

Yepyep. Each job starts off with 2~3 "common skills" that you don't earn, and the rest are gained through quests.

Like they said, Lilin really isn't the job instructor officially, but she definitely plays the largest part. Also, Tru in Lith Harbor plays a good deal into your skill quests and other Aran-related quests as well.

I don't know much about Mach. None of his conversations have really been translated and you only talk to him 2 or 3 times, and he just advances you. No quests or anything.
